People see gambling as a game. They have fun and spend their time thus by.
Whatever do so addictive is that people think that you can make money. Some even think that you can be rich with it. But that's not it.

Why is it so addictive?

Yes, gambling is addictive and that's why it is banned in many countries, but I think that banning it is not right. Adults should have a right to do whatever they want if that not harms anybody physically. I'm not saying that gambling is a good thing but everyone should have the right to make his/her own decisions.

Some people realize that gambling is destroying their lives and the lives of their families before they are completely destroyed and others realize it too late.

IMO there are very less people addicted to those levels.However, it is never late to realize that you are just addicted and are going to get trapped more and more but they never do that and here is where they fail.

Its hard to break a habit that you practice every day but you need to try hard and you will be able to break that habit.

it is very hard to break a habit so if it has become a habit, it is going to be quite hard. u need to find another hobby or entertainment to keep u away, may not be successful but it will takes time. bit by bit.

According to a research, human needs 30 days to make a habbit. Which means that you have to at least do a new activity in the next 30 days so tht you can make it as your habbit.

Moreover people must understand that the probability of loosing and winning is same , no matter if they are chasing losses or playing first time. Like I saw someone playing dice and saying that he wont loose the next roll on 50% , cause he already lost 6 in a row earlier.
