The simple reason must be the human nature. All human usually temp to all attractive things. The most entertaining thing which also provide the promise of getting rich in quick period must attract any common man which may end in addiction too.
Well said. Gambling becomes addiction just due to the fact that of it's easy money making method. We are looking for money making idea when it comes with the flavor of easy task then many people do not want to leave off it. That is the reason they are sticking with gambling and getting addiction to it. Indeed, gambling is so addicting because of the money you can win with it. People are getting blind because they see money they can win and they think than can win easy and make profit easy. and don't forget about the thrill that you can get from gambling, the risk alone makes the game interesting and thrilling so that is a bog motif for getting addicted to that thrill. I think that when you like gambling you will become addicted so there is nothing else u think it too simple and negative, i mean too narrow, that it's wrong. u think about it like a calculation with only one result, but it's actually has multiple outcome. Gambling is very bad to do. But the most people like it to do and that is not good. You must control yourself and that is the best thing. If you gamble you must play with small amount, so you will lose not that much money. And you have also fun. Best thing is not to gamble.... |

Gambling can be addictive but can also be very beneficial if handled well. Excessive gambling will lead to excessive losses. So if you want to benefit from gambling, then you have to take the small profits you bet instead of staying in the casino.

If you profit from it i wouldnt call it addiction...
But if you have a losing streak and you sell what you own or you get loans just have some money to gamble then that is addiction...
Sportsbetting or playing poker can be really profitable if you have the skills. There are gambling games that need more skill than luck. |

Gambling is so addicting because people see it as a game. And I think everyone likes it to do. But the most important is to control yourself.
If you cant control yourself than you will be poor in just a time and that wont be good. I hope later that more people will realize that gambling is very bad.

Gambling is addictive because it feels like a game, but with money. People only see the dollar signs when they win once, and not the debt they have accumulated the other times. We see the "high" point as so easy and achievable but can't stop ourselves when losing.

Gambling is addicting because some people are easily filled with greed and the easy money that these guys can get for a short time with gambling makes it more a reaso for the to stick up with gambling. They can only see the possibility of winning an tey can't notice that they are also most likel to loose.

Many people are very greedy and that is a bad property. You must dont think that you can earn some money with gambling.
You always lose more money than you win money. And you like it to do. But it is not smart to do it. You only need luck at gambling but you cant buy luck.....
Nope you are wrong. What I know gambling is for people to have fun and earn a lot from it because it is easy and quick money to get so there is no way people will stay away from this kind of attraction. Luck is everything in gambling but you miss something, there is still some strategy game so you might even want to try that |

I think addiction is not about profit or loss. When we are always on profit but we still continue playing its called addiction as well. In other words, addiction in gambling is when we cant stop whether we are on profit or loss. |

Gambling is so addicting because its enjoying and you do not realize you already playing for a long time, I mostly do not know how much I played.
Most times I think its a couple hours but its than even the double of that(something near the 7 hours), also the thing that you can win money does make you addictive because you will get greedy.

This is also very true, the low skill level of gambling, especially dice sites, is a huge attraction. You don't need to be intelligent to win, just lucky. |

Gambling can be really addictive these people just need to stop, just stop by starting to delete your gambling accounts or something, if you done that you can already gamble not online.
Other methods are speaking with your friends about it or with family that can taken care of you(mostly a close person is the best).

making a living is hardly likely. However there is a guy around here that just won 43 btc or something like that. Put that money away in a cold wallet or invest in in low risk loans or something, and he can live off that. |
