Why is it so addictive?

In gambling the more we win the more we fight and continue to risk all we have. Because there is a possibility that we will win, that makes it addictive the winnings, the money we earn in it. Even though we lose, we still hope that we will win on the next time around thats why we continue.

That's the wrong mentality if you are always winning and you still continue to bet. In the long run, you would really lose a lot of money because the house edge will catch up to you and that would be more devastating knowing that you've won such a large amount and you lost it being greedy. The fact that we can't prove that you are going to lose, is the fact that you keep on continuing.
