Why is gambling so addicting?

It's addictive because gambling is a one-time big-time opportunity to profit and earn instant money based on your luck and timing. Even gamblers lose a bet, they always want their money to return even they are loosing more and more, they became braver because of their passion to win again. I don't gamble much but when I'm feeling lucky I go for it! and withdraw my winnings instantly in case of losing all my balance in a blink.

Gambling offers the opportunity to become rich almost without doing anything and those who like easy money will come back again to try again. You need to set a limit for the game in order not to lose everything.

We will not be addicted if we keep gambling just for fun, even if we lose we can manage it and only when we become ambitious with our goal to make money with gambling will surely make us addicted with gambling. Well i agree with you that gambling can be no fun when you're loosing your money but it can be for profit because it is not entirely based on luck-at least some games aren't luck based like dice and slots. I prefer sports betting where i can use previous statistics and my understanding of the game to make acurate future predictions.

Well then you have to find a way to study your game and win in order to make profit else then quit it  for good because itb is not  for you. Addiction could be anything but gambling addiction makes you loose your money too and so we don't joke with it  so if you think you cannot become a pro gambler or you're having poor results then the best thing will be to quit entirely and do something else because you will continue to loose and start thinking of recovering and that's where you shouldn't find yourself.

That's a deceiving start and I experienced that before when I played a lot of times with dice. And I have my brother behind me while seeing me win every roll, the amount of winning isn't too high but with those small amounts combining it then that gave me a big sum of income for that day. After taking a rest for  day, my conscience is keep on telling me that I'm lucky until the worst part of that history happened.

After taking a rest for  day, my conscience is keep on telling me that I'm lucky until the worst part of that history happened.

yes it's deceiving indeed because it can get people into thinking that they are lucky and they will start accumulating unconscious debts until reality dawns on them. I have been a victim in my early days but i'm fortunate i got out of that folly earlier.
