I suppose one of the main reasons is the illusion of getting rich quick and when you do win you think next time if I put in a little bit more then you will win more.  It is an addiction that is hard to kick for sure.

Because of their own self discipline that they can not control. I must say,  you know how to become a better one,if you should better keep to control your own self discipline.And Why is gambling so addicting because of your losing of your gain to become addicted with gambling.

i think that person is only chasing to win the money but sometimes he don't realize that he can not always win the games. if he know about this then i think he can prevent to not become addicting person in gambling because its too dangerous for him and even for new people which is knew gambling. the problem is sometimes we can not controlled our emotion in gambling games and we only continue to played the games without thinking that in the end, we can only getting lose all our money.
