Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Cash is not easily traceable, in fact is the most used tool to fund wars because of that, it's more anonymous than Bitcoin. I wonder what will they do to fund wars considering they want to start their agendas to destroy cash from people therefore destroying any hopes hopes of financial privacy with it (unless people catch on Bitcoin and Bitcoin becomes more anonymous)

Simply they don't want it to stop.. It is a profitable business (buying weapons to the gov then indirectly buy it to the rebels/terrorists...) dividing a country and make new weak ones which hates each others so they will buy more weaps with fiat ofc... etc

Gave just 1 example.. You can understand how complicated the war is.

And imo fiat isn't easily traceable at least USD since it is the preferable fiat for the terrorists.

Let's ban internet too. It a tool for terrorists and they use it for communication and to enlist people in the ISIS. /sarcasm

On serious note if you are human being with even one working brain cell you don't believe that bitcoin is evil tool used mainly by criminals and all that propaganda in the public mass media.

no one believes  it, and MSM outlets should be careful with their anti  Bitcoin propaganda or they might find themselves hauled of to jail

Is this sarcasm to the people who wanted to ban bitcoins Roll Eyes
On a serious note, banning fiat is impossible at this rate, people are still using it for everyday use while bitcoin is not being used by that many people yet
Maybe in the future when bitcoin is in the stronger place we could ban fiat once and for all  Angry

We could drop fiat tomorrow n the world would only get better but do

we see Cameron or Obama championing it? no cause they are surrounded

by printers, and people who only exist thru the print

Fiat will be banned, when banks and governments replace it with a Blockchain based private ledger they can control and manipulate, like they doing with fiat currencies now. In time

Bitcoin will either be banned or over-regulated in such a manner that it would become simply impossible to use it, without linking your full identity to it. They will do that, when they

want to push these private ledgers being created now. Fiat will go down, and it will be replaced by a greater evil.  Angry

Bitcoin being untracable was just one of the early scams, and it was never one of the appealing points to honest people anyway,

calling it untraceble now is just being used as a scare tactic

No 5 years is too short to ban fiat cash money world wide.Maybe in some devepoled nations this would be possible.A country like sweden for instance. Give it at least 20 years to make the last paper money disappear globally.

Correct. We should fight back with our own slides comparing the amount of cash used to the amount of Bitcoin that is possibly being used to fund wars, terrorism and whatnot. I'm pretty sure that it is just a tiny amount and the media are abusing their positions in regards to this. Although we can not ban fiat either, not yet at least.

On serious note if you are human being with even one working brain cell you don't believe that bitcoin is evil tool used mainly by criminals and all that propaganda in the public mass media.
Correct. For them it is more of a hassle to convert back to fiat somewhere. It's much easier to just get bags of cash (no need to exchange or anything).

Couldn't have said it better... All this money going through is good for some, and others just shut their eyes to what happens.

The same countries that are fighting against terrorism have the companies that made the arms witch terrorist are using to kill people. They don't want to trace this operations in fiat money.

Indeed, this is a really likely scenario to happen, that's why we must keep bitcoin decentralized over everything, and this involves being able to run nodes with a single computer, and big blocks aren't friendly with that. Bitcoin will be our only salvation in the Orwellian private blockchain future that awaits us.

I understand all of the people's views above and I agree with them 100%. I don't think that they will ban us, because of these stupid terrorism claims or because of anything else.

Now can this make our life a bit harder on our quest to the mainstream adoption and everyday use, most definitely it can! But what can we really do about it except talking and spreading the right and trutfull informations!
