The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Pretty sure BFG is looking for a miner, detect none and thus list no miner and a speed of 0.

Which mean you have no miner on your computer and you can't actually mine Bitcoin with computer anymore, especially not a mac.

bro just don´t try to mine with a normal computer.

It will both kill it and you will make nothing, even if you have "free electricity".

But if you keep willing to mine to see how its done, in my pc ("Windows") I have installed guiminer, which is quite easy to set up (there are a lot of tutorials out there).

But I recommend you not to mine with non-specialised hardware SPECIALLY bitcoin. With some altcoins you might get something, but definitely no profit.

Hope it helped (PD: you can buy a little usb miner, or an u3, which are quite cheap and gives you a lot more hashing power than your computer).
