So, on the USB drive would be a lightweight bitcoin client along with a private key controlling 1 BTC? Sounds feasible.

The tech side I'm not that sure of , a link to an online wallet with 1 btc in it maybe , on the physical aspect sde of it, if its got to be torn off to put in the USB socket that would render it spent,if its readable without tearing it  it may need a covering with anti temper scratch foil as a second security measure
