Need your opinion on this post of mine being deleted.

First of all want to clearly state it not a big issue (not even a small one) but I want to hear your opinioin just out of curiosity.
I feel like there is a witch hunt up and runnig here due to the aim to the role of moderator which you can access by the number and the accuracy of your use of the "report" button.

This is the message I received quoting my removed post:

Just a suggestion: why don't you turn, at least for a trial limited period if not permanently, the hourly NL holdem freeroll into miwed game ones.

I mean you could rotate: NL Holdem, PLO8, Horse, Chinese Poker, PLO, or only some of them or also other (razz, badugi ...).

I'm pretty sure lot of players don't even know what these game are and with the possibility to try then for free they couls like it and play them for real mBTC.

As you can read on October, 24th I gave a suggestion to Luckyflop, for the pokersite he is running, to take it into consideration for a limited trial period and at the end of this I stated it was only an idea and I was hoping for other players opinion on the matter.

12 days later Luckyflop answered with this cryptic post: "mmmmmm  "

Which I don't fully understand so I re-answer him asking for further explanations about:
 
- test period
- the eventual lask of other players opinion
- a little joke related to the emoticon he added to his criptic comment (which seem like sending kisses).



Also take in consideration Luckyflop answered properly to that post of mine

yes. But i need to see if the software has that rotating option of games per hand… I think it does.

And last thing: I posted it 14 days ago, the very same day Luckyflop answered me, and today I have my post removed ....feel like some aiming-moderator (don't know who but would appreciate him to argumentate here) is necro-checking old posts to act like the first of the classroom and reporting it to a moderator (don't know who but would appreciate him to argumentate here) who found that the aiming-moderator used correctly "report" button .

Or maybe a moderator did all the "dirty" job by himself.

Why this post has been deleted 14 days later, considering that the recipient of that post also answered it properly the very same day?
Would really appreciate  to read more about the reasons of this beside the standard message forwarded by PM.


Am I the only one feeling there is a sort of exaggeration in finding posts to report?

It is possible that the post from luckyflop was reported and deleted because it is a useless post. Since yours was a direct response to that one, it got deleted as well. However, this is just my guess. You will have to wait for the one who deleted it to respond (which might take time).

Should a useless comment be removed even if it comes from the thread creator and the thread is the official one of the pokersite owned and run by thread creator?

Anyway "useless commenter" later on answered to my demand of further clarification properly, so it was in some way useful.

And by the way also his further answer, quoting that useless comment and my removed answer to it, is still there

Report it yourself, most likely it will get deleted, it is spam in my book, don't know about the mods. Because rules are interpreted by mods according to their "definition" of spam. One more reason why your post got deleted might be because you had a paid signature

I didn't realize that it was not deleted. That is quite strange. It is possible that someone missed it. Also, a useless comment should be deleted regardless of who made it.

I reported both posts, not all reports are handled by mods however.
It was either ignored or marked as a bad report.

 1) If you do your proper due diligence you will find out I already (before starting this thread) reached the needed number of posts to get paid for the current week: the ones here are an extra.

2) Which Mod shoud I have PMed? If you read the PM I quoted in first post you would notice it come from an anonymous general "Bitcoin forum" sender. If you click replay to it the receiver field remains empty.

3) I wanted also to hear eventual opinions from other bitcointalkers (constructive opinion I mean: you made a false and superficial statement of me being paid for this thread)

4) If you find this post unwanted why the hell are you posting here?

Can't you guys make a system that tells you exactly why your post got deleted? I mean if your post gets deleted because the main post your responded to got deleted you should get a specified message for that so you know why it got deleted.

The moderator of that specific section or global moderators. It's always one of those 2 options unless the post in question has been made by a newbie.

Can't you guys make a system that tells you exactly why your post got deleted? I mean if your post gets deleted because the main post your responded to got deleted you should get a specified message for that so you know why it got deleted.

We don't make anything. Moderators do not make things around here, the admins do. You can suggest this for the new forum if you want to.
