I got this email too, but am a little confused.

My order has been marked as "Ready to Ship" and it says they printed the shipping invoice.
However, it also says that the product is still being assembled and has yet to be tested.

Call me old fashioned but shouldn't things be assembled/tested first before being classified as "ready to ship"?

Perhaps I'm reading into the definition of "ready" too deeply?

If my posts have helped, consider leaving a tip! 1AE5e56ivvaGMJJmLrZoLgiZXPx93CddyA

Ha i agree with you there, it makes no sense at all. Seems like they just wanted to be the first to say "ready to ship".

very odd

Yep, doesn't mean what it says. It's explained in details on the btcfpga forums.
This is the usual problem with small webshops: the states and workflows don't match anything more than the simplest processes.

P2pool tuning guide
Trade BTC for €/$ at bitcoin.de (referral), it's cheaper and faster (acts as escrow and lets the buyers do bank transfers).

What is this Ready To Ship email?
This basically means that this the order the ship team will see when they get ready to fill it - you should login and check to make sure you are seeing the counts and units you are expecting to see.

can you imagine if you applied this to a heart operation?

READY TO SHIP = "Your husband is out and making a full recovery".

WHEN YOUR BASIC HAS BEEN ASSEMBLED = "I'm now going to run some tests and see what's wrong with your husband"

BFL posters have reported receiving email stating that new delivery date for bASIC is January 2013.  You never know whether these target dates are best or worse case scenarios.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Pretty sure they are talking about BFL products being shipped in January. Or link to someone saying bASIC sent me an email that batch 1 will be shipped in January 2013 please.
