I have been trying to find a POS coin that is easy to stake and tradeable on market, and still does not have a loooong maturity period (not days or weeks). I have found Netcoin, that roughly begins to stake at 6-8 hours after holding it for the first time, but I would like to hear about other coins that are POS and give their first stake in hours, not days.
Can anyoen recommend a coin (or more than one) with those features?
Thanks in advance

My bet would be clam. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623147.0you can "pool" stake at gambling sites to increase your investment even more. However if you're looking for a longer term investment, check out nxt.

PIG, stake in 8hrs, trades in UNO/FTC/ltc/doge and is listed on polo for btc trade. SPROUTS is midrange to stake (5days). Best for me in quick stake is POT, I open it daily and the whole lot is always mature I get a block in 5-10 min. To lazy to check time to mature but it's under 2 days. TALK https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=864994.msg ... an orginal shit coin, nearing 2 years of staking @15% holdings mature in 1day and transactions confirm in 2-4min ... but lacks the liquidity/vol you're seeking ... if you like stake coins come hang out cuz that's the focus finding the best stakes coins to stake.

Thanks this is more what I was looking for. Things like Pig and Pot you mention. I already tried sprouts, but it was days to stake and do not feel very comfortable with that (in my first stake got a lot of coins, but Sprouts price had gone down to less than half comparing with when I bought them). Thank for the post on talk! It is great info for me. I have also tried NXT and PEER and CLAM. I know they are reputable, but are too slow for me and have low staking rates. I prefer to see some new coins everyday that I can sell for some satoshis or compound, even if the coin keeps losing value slowly.

It was certainly a very innovative that was entirely built from scratch but lacks community support.

where can be diamonds traded? What is the maturity required to see some stake? I do not trust much in coins that take lots of days to stake if they not offer a great interest (I considered incakoin for example due to its 100% stake, but did not like mintcoin and others because of them being slow)

Hello community We are leading the takeover of Quotient, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1195335.0With a 1618% annual rate, effective around 50-60% due max stake cap. And our XQNPOSFUND counterparty asset distributes revenue in Quotient to holders of asset. Try us out, the wallet stakes great and performs well. I will give away 1000 XQN to 15 users posting in our thread and pm me their address. EDIT:(if you still hold it and stake for 2weeks i will give another 5000 XQN each) Do not put your address in thread, rather post your thoughts on our project, good or bad all feedback is welcome. Happy staking! IW

I guess that depends on what services and products we will deliver.. Right now the asset fund of 10btc worth of other pos coins is using all revenue to buy Xqn from market. Anyway, you cant lose if you get the coins for free? Dev left awhile ago, and we needed a coin for our project. XQN had lots of the things we were looking for, and hence a takeover seemed more reasonable than creating a new coin. IW

Staking CLAM is absolutely retarded as you are pitted up against the just-dice.com staking monopoly. Last I check doog owned a wallet with damn near 80% of the networks total dug CLAM. Effectively centralizing it. Looking for decent coins to stake? I would look into CashMe: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1165889.0Don't let the premine fool you. This coin is going to be worth 500% more than it currently is in the upcoming week due to the launch of the dice and ponzi sites that is planned. Investing on the dice site will also be available by the sounds of it as well so you might be able to make mad profits!

Staking a block is a lotto nevertheless. Doesn't really mean anything if someone owns more coins than you do. If you want a truly decentralized network, get some nxt. Forging power on nxt is more decentralized than bitcoin mining power. CashMe would be another dead coin within a month. Even if you get hold of some of Cashme coins for free, you're shit out of luck because no one really wants to buy turdcoins. Being on an exchange doesn't mean shit if you get zero volumes.

If you want to have a fast staking coin, find coin with low minimum stake days, then use lots of coins in one output and it can build stake weight faster then the other coins.

I would suggest DigiCube it has a 2000% yearly stake rate. Minimum stake age is 24hrs or 1 day. That makes it ~5.5% daily stake. And 5.5% daily compound rate. It has a stable market and price is rising slowly. More details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1211692This from experience, it stakes very fast after reaching minimum age. I make ~4 Cube daily (worth 0.004 BTC)

Mintcoin "MINT"
- Confirms in 30 seconds, so it is about the fastest there is.
- Takes minimum 20 days to stake, 40 days max (for security purposes, and fairness)
The stake reward is currently 15% per year, but is about to drop to 10% per year (On December 1, 2015), followed by 5% for the years thereafter, just enough to replace lost coins and maintain fungibility, and motivation to secure the network, etc. The reason you want a coin like this is because if you have too fast of a stake period the new-coin creation distribution is extremely unfair and creates a security problem. Also if there too high a stake reward, the coin is way to inflationary and will be devalued to dust. MINT is a long-term hold IMO because it is fast, secure, active development, good initial distribution via PoW for several weeks before all the Scrypt ASICs hit the market, (has been around since February 2014), and is quite established. Another plus right now is the price is cheapest it has been in a while. Good community too. Here is the latest from Bitcointalk Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=450381.new#newReddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MintCoin/new/PS: Happy Thanksgiving!

All these coins have microscopic volume so it's you might as well go work at 7/11.
Also, the Devs and their buddies have a massive information advantage = SCAM... And, legally, probably ponzi schemes or so other type of fraud.

bumbacoin min stake age 10 minutes coinbase maturity 40 blocks(minutes) fixed 2 coin reward/block 10 minutes that's impressive how about OPEN 'osc' stakes in 365 days I am starting to not like +2-3days min time. Best POS seem to be these faster min. hold time. You open them up daily, sync, stake, and move on to the next thing you need to do with your PC. It get's habitual and insures lots of nodes in the network, problem/tradeoff is they only ping in then drop off after awhile. The +2days min hold time 'stakers' can start to have lots of different chunks of coins and get consistent rewards, but this seems to limit the network to a few big fish, and small stake holders find it difficult to catch rewards. For coins like this I just wait months before attempting to stake (heavy weight) but I contribute little to the network with this method.

My conclusion was to go on NETcoin. Stakes in hours at an interest that is higher the more NET you have in your wallet. Coin is still holding on after more than 2 years, and the stake % is not ultra high, so it is a long term coin. FLY is doing well too.
