Black Friday didn't have much of an impact last year. The price briefly went up a little afterwards, then crashed heavily down. Perhaps this year will be different. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Nevertheless I don't think it will affect the price heavily.

I think this event is way bigger than last year, so we should see an impact on the price Roll Eyes
But it should be a temporary one, after the event is done, the price should go back to the way it was before Tongue
But i hope i can make a pretty good profit in the temporary price surge Wink

Maybe you care to elaborate it. How could this increase the value of bitcoin.

The bitcoins that people buy (price increase) will be sold by the merchants (price decrease) so it will be balanced?

We'll probably see some selling pressure but this year's bitcoin black Friday will probably be the smallest of the tradition whilst trading is still seeing stable volumes. It's likely that that this year's impact on the price will be less significant that 2013/14

The more webshops have promotions, the more people will buy btc and spend it.

It would be a perfect oppertunity to test the network. Let's aim for a great succes with millions of transactions.

We could end this great btc year with a price rise and the succes of black friday & christmas shopping.

Quite likely such a scenario but still would like to hope that a Christmas rally will not escape us and will give us a little happiness Grin

I thought Black Friday is normal for in store shopping? If that is the case, the there is little impact. Bitcoin is good for on line shopping.

That is true. If people use bitcoins for online shopping then their will be a some demand for bitcoins and it may impact slightly on prices but may not be much because as of now not many major online shops accepts bitcoins as a payment method. So I think because of black friday sales there will be very slight impact on btc prices.

Small change that is absorbed within the next few days
People buy Bitcoin to prepare for BBF and the price rises in the short term, after products are purchased the merchants convert the Bitcoin into cash less a percentage they may decide to keep holding and the price will drop.
