Partly yes ! I have my Job as a software engineer working with an MNC which pays good enough to pay all my bills plus save up for future insurance plans .However I can't really satisfy my hobbies like lavish club drinking scenes, expensive clothing brands etc .I gamble with btcs to fulfill those requirements .

I think you already have good life but to earn more money to fulfill your lavish life needs would be better if you find some other ways to increase your earnings because gambling is not the way to make more profits on regular basis but if you have a luck you can make some times good profits but not every day. Good-luck to you  Smiley
Yeah thanks man ! In know gambling isn't the key but after 8 hours of tiring job I m barely left with couple of hours to do some money making online. As you know starting a new service or some online business needs similar amount of dedication,so gambling remains as the only feasible option .

Wow! So you do make money with gambling? That's impressive. But do you think there is an option you lose more than ever earned one day? I mean I don't wish this to you but all the gamblers end up like this I think.

Good luck though )

Is there anyone out there that makes a living on buying, selling, trading BTC.  When I say buying, selling, trading, I am talking about people who play faucets, gamble, trade services, or any other trading/activity with BTC.  If you are out there, please enlighten us on what we can do to get the same results on our end.

There's a big difference between gambling and trading but both involve risk. I wouldn't fancy my chances at earning a living by gambling but it's much easier to do it by trading, though I wouldn't rely on it but you can make a nice profit every now and again just buy buying low and selling high. Personally I would rather hold my coins for the long term gains, though.

I only wanted 2 see u underneath the Purple Wayne.

I don't think faucets is an actual gamble. Unless you're talking about the chances you'll get some more satoshi.

You don't lose anything by using faucets. It will take a long time before you earn 1 btc with faucets, so you can't really make a living out of faucets.

Raping faucets for money could be compared to something like doing thousands of competitions IRL to make extra money.  If anyone is a professional faucet grinder that would be interesting to see.  Another poor choice of a way to make a living unless its all automated.

I guess it can't be automated. The way faucets works right now is very hard to come up with good script for automated withdrawals. Numerous captchas, script blockers are and issue.
You would probably sit around and control your faucet machine manually - which is not so good option as you will be wasting your time for doing tedious clicking over and over again.

TBH, you really can't unless you cheat. Sure, you can profit if you are good at poker, but there are some counter-measures people take so you can't read them. You can always lose, and trust me, you don't want to. Gambling is entertainment, not a job. If you do it as a job, you're insane. One day, you'll lose all you have and maybe since you're already so addicted, you'll do something crazy like take a loan to gamble. I only gamble using faucets these days, I once lost a thousand dollars of items on a jackpot site....

Well, I've read a majority of the posts in this thread just to get a consensus on the opinions expressed herein.  I would like to add that one can definitely realize a positive rate of return by playing games of "skill" where chance is a factor, as opposed to playing games of "chance" alone.  Poker is a good example.  It doesn't take much to become a player with a positive ROI with poker, especially if one were to find a site that has more of the "gambling" variety of players, in contrast to the variety of players who play with a developed skill set.  There are several tools at one's disposal which may be used to facilitate acquiring such a skill set.  There is software that enables players to search sites with "soft" playing fields....colloquially referred to as "bum hunting software."  There is software that keeps databases of statistics which provide an overlay onto the table of those statistics, in real time, called Heads Up Displays (HUD's).  By utilizing those tools and applying a  strict mathematical knowledge, it is not difficult to become a player with a positive ROI.

Now, I am not saying that it is super easy, and I'm not saying that anybody can do it.  It is like any other profession where education and experience facilitate sharper learning curves.  Proper bankroll management, cogent mathematical ability, comprehensive understanding of available software, and a consistent evaluation of one's own "leaks" are all basics to becoming a winning player.  Like with any other job, use those skills, start at the bottom, gain some experience, and you will be on your way to gaining a positive rate of return on your bitcoin investments.  There are several good rooms that are excepting bitcoin which are also compatible with the above mentioned software.

With fiat, there are many people who gamble for a living, but I don't think anyone gambles with BTC for a living. It's probably because most of the gamblers who make money off gambling win their money from poker tournaments; there aren't very many big poker tournaments around for bitcoin. Also, most bitcoin gamblers like to play dice, which has a house edge, making it impossible to win the in the long run.

There's a couple of really big bitcoin tournaments coming up next week on Betcoin.ag.  There's a 500K USD GTD MTT on November 29th and then there's a 1M USD GTD MTT on December 6th. There's also a huge tournament series the following week with a $1.75 million dollar prize pool.  https://www.betcoin.ag/betcoinag-presents-online-super-series-iv-over-175-million-btc-prize-pools.  You can buy into them all with bitcoin.

secondly its impossible to make a living from doing that

Bookies do live their lives by living on gambling , Gambling on large scale becomes Fixing and yes fixing can let you live a luxurious life.
So living on gambling is Possible , but not all can be a true gambler.

Oh wow, I didn't know such big tournaments were held for bitcoin. Then, there must be some poker players that can make a living from gambling bitcoins, just that the media doesn't cover them.

completely untrue, there are plenty of people that have made it big off a lucky streak, or earn a living through games such as poker. it is never a guarantee that gambling is a for sure loss, otherwise people wouldnt ever bother gambling knowing that they would just be throwing their money away. and again, its not impossible to make a living off gambling, theres plenty of poker professionals that would say otherwise.

yah and when u see the poker tournament, the amount of money they win is ridiculous. dont say the top winner, even the top 10 also win an insane amount of money. but i also hear that the entrance fee is very high too.

Op if you think that faucets can create any kind of opportunity for you in 2015 you are very wrong. To gamble or trade BTC you either has to be early adopter or buy bitcoins for you FIAT.
If you can offer your skills in exchange for BTC it is also good option. Then if you acquire sufficient amount you can gamble or trade with it. I don't see any other way.

I dont understand why you can earn that big amount in doing exchange? You can't get that much in such a little time except you have more money to do that exchange thing may be you can earn that big but that will take time too
Actually I disagree with you .If faucets used properly can make a shit lods of btcs .I'm just giving an example of a guy who used to make 0.1 btc a week with just faucets. The trick is to run multiple faucets for 24 hours a day and multiple accounts using VPN's.This can be a lazy trick to earn free btcs but consumes a lot of resources .
If you can dedicate your whole time and resources just to run 'faucet machine' then you probably will earn more than peanuts. But it is as you said, you MUST have machine online for 24h.
In some places electricity bills will be actually higher than your income from faucets.

You will never get money from faucets although you really have that 'faucet machince' like you said if you didnt have any reff I dont think so you will earn much and it sure needs more time and it is not worth to sacrifice your time just to get that little bit of money
