How many posts are needed for the different member ranks

i am new at bitcointalk.org i want to know how can we get rank with minimum number of post . my main question is

Just to make it clear, it is not the post that is being counted to get your account rank up but the activity.

If you have a newbie account your first 14 activity will come from your first 14 posts then the following activity update will require you to wait 14 more days or 2 weeks to get another 14 activity regardless of the amount of your posts.


Brand New: 0 post, 0 activity.   
Newbie: 1+ post and Activity.
Jr. Member: 30+ Activity.
Full Member:   Activity: 120+ Activity.
Sr. Member: 240+ Activity.
Hero Member: 480+ Activity.
Legendary: 775+ Activity.

Activity are only rewarded when you post at least once in that period. The period is approximately two weeks of unix timestamp. The list of activity periods are located here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit?pli=1#gid=1324892580.

When you register, you would be somewhere in the activity period and if you post, you would automatically be awarded 14 "Potential Activity". To have them show as activity, you need to post at least 14 times.
Here is the list of activity for each rank:

Yeah as my post said "I SUPPOSE" so was not really sure about it .But the beginners and help section does have a detailed explainaition on the same question with related formulas .I was assuming any newbie would go to beginners and help section to get his doubts cleared as the first approach unless he is lazy enough not to do so .

for different member ranks  it is not that how many post you post wont decide, every 14 days the activity period changes, according to that the member ranks change.

Legendary occurs at some point between  775 - 1030 Activity but everything else here is spot on ^^^^

Incorrect, you can post in offtopic all the time and your activity would still increase. Activity potential is increased in fixed timings and it would only appear if the Post>Potential activity.

No. Activity goes up by the amount you post in each 2 week interval, with a max of 14. Where you post makes no difference.

I would expect for them to count in Archival due to them being still view able by a user. AFAIK posts in trash are essentially removed from a user's post count, so they wouldn't count regardless.

Actually, I've decided that I'm right when I say it depends on where you post.



One user has 59 post and 59 activity, while another user has 24 activity but 78 posts.
I win.
