Ok that sounds like a silly question, but what I mean to say is do you know it all, in your head - could you write down the full address with no errors?

I have several vanity addresses and of course know the primary details but not the rest, including upper / lower case and number sequences.

I have been thinking about this lately and just wanted to put it out there  Grin

I have hundreds of bitcoin addresses.  I tend to use a new address for every transaction.

No.  I don't have any of them memorized.  There would be no good reason to do so.

for safety reasons i prefer to use many bitcoin address' so i don't simply rely on 1 bitcoin address.
i remember back in the days when we use to have to remember so many telephone numbers... now i can't even remember my own brother's number because it's stored on our phones.. a little off topic but whatever lol
god damn technology!

i have a QR code on the back of my business cards..
easy to hand out and easy for recipients to scan.. rather then hand typing the lengthy address..

writing out the lengthy address is soo old school. something not really done in the 21st century of camera's or copy&paste.

but the other question you can ask.. does anyone know their entire credit/debit card number off by heart.. i think you will get the same low percentage of people saying yes

I only remember the first 5 or 6 exact characters of my most used addresses (cold wallets). Remembering a complete address is not something I can, nor am I interested in it.

Definitely not. I've had a lot of address in the past. I've even had a vanity one 1Lauda something which I had lost access to and created another one with that starting word sequence. It's pretty hard to memorize a single one, unless you're really trying to do that.

I remember at most few letters of addresses i use most, but there was whole lot of them and i never used one that long so i could remember more than that lol. Anyway, best practice would be to we use address only once.

I do not remember it by heart, but can more or less recognize my main address if I see it written somewhere. Perhaps it would not be so bad an idea to memorize it though.

Funny question, it's hard to memorize your own Bitcoin address.
But I believe if you often practice, surely you will be able to memorize it. Smiley

I don't know it off hand.
I use a web wallet so it changes frequently so trying to memorize it would be useless to me.

No, of course I could not.
That's why copy and paste and backups are for, so no need to memorize things, unless as training in a memorization course

yes its a silly question, but interesting..we all know that bitcoin address have so many letters and combine with number.human brain will hard to remember it quickly, even i believe its still possible.but in this case,we all dont need to remember it and can write without error.we ussualy remember 3 or 4 final digit of address, like "GJKL"  and its help me to mark my address,so i can know it when on bitcoin address row.

I don't know mine off hand, however I keep what I can recorded on a piece of paper (a habit of excessive amounts of paperwork in my daily job). I also use 15 to 20 addresses per month so it would be near impossible to remember them all. Hell, I can barely keep track of people's names.

I have many addresses too and I barely know the first two characters. I remember once got confused between two addresses that start with the same characters since i used to know the last char too.

I know the first 3 and last 3 characters of my 5-10 most used addresses. There is an incredible number of addresses out there-- might as well use a new one for every transaction Cheesy

I'm not sure if there would be much of a reason to... If I were relying solely on memory, I would be afraid of messing it up, anyway. It's nice to have something to crosscheck with.  Tongue

I remember first number. So I'm like others here, who will remember all this numbers, letters.. its a bit difficult. As someone said here before 20 years we had all phone numbers in head, now its problem to remember any number all is memorized. Anyway nice question, I'm curious is anyone here learned his address. I doubt there is such person, but I will watch this topic and check from time to time will someone like that appear.

I don't even know my own mobile phone number because I never ring it. If someone asks me for it I have to get my phone out and look it up. As for bitcoin addresses I try to use a new one for each deposit, except for on exchanges that won't let you change your address. Those few exchange addresses are too difficult to remember so I have to be extremely careful verifying I'm sending to the correct address.
