So, CCN got an email telling them that someone would hack their website. Is that right?
And the extortionists ask 2 BTC, that apparently CCN has more Bitcoin. They even will give 5 BTC to someone that can find the extortionists
What a stupid extortionists, he should've ask more. Cheesy

faucet used to be profitable

If he has targeted multiple sites, I wonder if any of them has payed up. Would be a pity having all of this computing power and not getting any money for it.

I hope that he's at least mining some shitcoins with his botnet.

A lot of work for such a small bounty... I would have imagined a site like CCN would post a bit bigger bounty.. It is strange that a Bitcoin user, would attack a Crypto Currency

website, but it has happened before... so I guess they just following the money. In some countries this is seen as industrial espionage, and it is taken very seriously. I hope this

guy know the consequences of his actions. They also attract the attention of those 3 letter agencies in more serious cases.  Shocked
