Starting A Faucet

Looking for general advice from people who run there own faucet about starting a faucet. I've found some good threads on adding country blocks and how to block bots (though advice on this is probably still useful), but am more interested in how much bitcoin do you need to start a faucet and keep it from running dry. What advertising sites do you use to generate income? When first starting your faucet and having low traffic is the advertising income enough to keep the faucet going?
