[REQ] [pool] [TRC] alternate pool requires more miners!

Hi there,

i've been mining occasionally at the "alternate" bitcoinreactor TRC pool from time to time, it looks like this one really requires a few more miners

Just to mention it: i'm just concerned about the coinotron centralization, as coinotron posted here a few days ago, this may expose coinotron a little bit, and i'd really like to have multiple choices for a given "product" (mining pool in this case)...

So ... what about pointing a few of your miners there ?

Ok, you're kinda "mining in the dark" there ... it looks like there are caching almost everywhere, no nice own hashrate graph or whatever we could see on 50btc.com for example, but ... for now it works....

Regarding the reward system in place there, it's currently Prop. only, but i guess it finally gives nearly same results after a while...

Again, i am posting this just 'cause i really want to have multiple choices...

holy sh.. ... hashrate moved from .. around 500Mhashes/s to 7Ghashes/s !!

 

Damn ... i'm going to be jealous of those big mining rigs out there

TRC now have another alternative pool : p2pool

.. gonna give it a try right now, it looks like there's already 3.5+ Ghashes/s there

it looks like a trc/p2pool mandatory update is undergoing, i suddenly got hundreds of warnings in p2pool log files about malformed transactions / shares, after some investigation i found this post:

EDIT: official p2pool repository now appears to include those modifications ; working fine here so far.
