The real value is in the attention economy and for that you need to expand userbase, nontheless gemz is one of fastest growing crypto in userbase next to bitcoin. |

It has gone up a little, but it's parent, counterparty, is way down versus btc. I guess that's probably more responsible for price drop than anything else, since I think you can swap gems for xcp (and btc for xcp) on the dex.

That is a impressive amount of users so far I was to lazy to get started with this app. It's on mine to do list for a long time now. I don't see the point why I should use this and not whatsapp what all the other people use. |

Update January 22,  Atleast 95% of its users aren't familiar with Crypto and have been introduced to it through the GetGems platform. That is a good indication that the coin is moving in the right direction,I have no idea about the coin but with this thread I'll definitely see it's trading and price chart on coinmarketcap if 95% were converted are not into crypto currency ,then they have a good flatform advertising Getgems.. |

You cant buy them all, some is for airdrop and it would be hard to get people sell all their holdings to you for your price. |
