European living standard?

What would you say is the best country in Europe for a high standard of living?

I would say Sweden or Germany

Hard to say because I don't know what you mean by living standards. For example my friend lives in Berlin in a 4 story building with no elevator. I wouldn't call that a high standard. Many people there live in old post WW2 blocks and I'm not talking about some poor districts. One third of the city is like that.
Sweden sucks, they will soon have a huge problem with muslims.
I heard that Finland is a very nice place to live, but difficult language and cold weather are big cons.

I should go for Switzerland.

Germany, I lived there about 4 years and the standard is much better then in any other country in Europe

If you like warm weather you have to go the south, good climate, good food, Mediterranean region is the best place to live.
