I just ordered a new PSU and 2x 5830 cards. It'll be a small miner but I want to get in on this action. I've been having a lot of fun with it so far.

So, what's the best way to mine with a rig like this? I was told about linuxcoin but I've not tried it out yet. I also tried following the 11.04 Ubuntu guide but I've got no idea why it's not working right.

I hate to be a noob but I could use some guidance on where to go next.

Thanks !

Also, what's the deal with Pools?

Literally just type those exact same words into Google and you will find everything you need.

Not to be rude, but no one wants to type out answers to your questions when all of the information you seek is easily accessible in the Bitcoin wiki.

GUI version in windows?

I know Google it is going to be the common answer but I'm wondering if I should do something within the windows GUI, run 11.04, linux coin, or something else.

I don't really want to try everything just to see which works better.
