I normally use Mercabit, who are extremely reliable, but Alex is away until the 30th so I need a temporary vendor.

I've looked at bitexchange.biz and euromoneychange.com, but neither have any feedback to show they are reliable.

Not much, I've got a £20 Ukash voucher, so looking for about BTC3 give or take.

EDIT - got my rates mixed up, about BTC2.10 I'm looking for. 3 was a bit optimistic!  Smiley

http://bitexchange.biz/ is an advertiser on my site, and I've not used them as I am in the US but I know they are spending a lot of money on advertising right now as they are one of the biggest and main advertisers for the operation fabulous ad group, they've spent over 3btc on just my site lately.

I don't think it would make sense for them to screw you out of ~3btc when they've spent many more times that on advertising, and if they were screwing people I think it would generate a lot of talk on the forums.  For ~3btc right now I'd highly doubt you'd have any problems.

UKash vouchers may be redeemed with merchants where this payment voucher is accepted. This includes Bitcoin exchanges Mercabit.eu and VirWoX.
Funds may be added to a CashU account using a UKash voucher. Some bitcoin exchanges, such as Bitcoin Nordic, accept CashU payments for the purchase of bitcoins.

Thanks Stephen, I considered Bitcoin nordic but the transfer of Ukash again into CashU seemed too convoluted for a lazy sod like me.

I've now delved into the unknown and processed my voucher through bitexchange.biz...we will see what if anything happens.

Taken the plunge and attempted to process my voucher through bitexchange.biz. I've not yet received any email confirmation, however the auto message said to allow 24 hours processing. I'll soon find out if they're a scam or not.

I was slightly concerned that they seem to trawl the "newbie" forum promoting their business...

Hey projects,

Thanks very much for that, I will definitely take you up on the offer.

I used bitexchange.biz to try and exchange my UKash voucher about 24 hours ago but I've heard absolutely nothing back - at best an unreliable operation or at worst a potential scam.

Cheers again, I will be in touch soon!

No problem!
I am online every day for a few hours so probably at worst would be 12 hours to get it exchanged with me so just pm me if/when you need to exchange any - I have many references.

Is it just me, or has Virwox started to impose a restriction for Ukash vouchers?

I can only deposit upto 60 GBP or equivalent in EUR/USD... previously I think the limit was 200 GBP. The change seems to have happened without warning.

Apart from Bitcoin Nordic and their complicated way to fund Ukash (via CashU first, commissions each time), are there any alternatives?

Yes virwox has ukash disabled at the moment. The limits raise the more transactions you do and the longer you are a member, there is a table showing it on their site somewhere.

Previously I used to deposit about £100 at a time, and I think the limits were the same as Paysafecard is currently, but it's suddenly gone down to £60 (per 24 hours) and £180 (per 30 days) max.

The more transactions and the longer your account exists means the more you can do. After a month you can move considerably more.

I don't think you understand, I have had the account about six months and used to be able to deposit upto about £200 every day, now just £60.

Okay, that's good.

Should probably make that clear on the web page as I looked and instantly thought "EUR only".
