UPDATE

The final logo has been chosen. Some tweaks can still be made if enough people show concern.

See it on the website, also with a new background scrolling code: http://cbitcoin.com

Hello.

Thank you very much for those that voted and gave feedback for the first set of cbitcoin logo designs. Your feedback has been taken on board and a second set of logos have been designed. I would very much appreciate your feedback on these, and this should be the final feedback that will go into the design of the final logo.

When voting please do not view the logos as final but vote based on the general principle on the design. You may explain what you like, what you do not like and anything you'd change as a reply to this topic.

The feedback will be collected for developing the final design on 11AM Wednesday 21st Nov GMT, so please leave feedback by then.

Thank you,

Matthew Mitchell.

True, there may be some confusion where people think this is a C# library. Obviously the logo will not have the # after the C like that. Do people think there is that confusion when including a # at all?

the logos are OK, much better than the last set. But I still thing that Orange and dark grey don't match at all.

So the C in a very light grey and the bitcoin in this dark grey would look much better IMO.

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

Thank again everyone. I'll make sure the final logo is simple.

I wont be able to please everyone with the colours unfortunately.

I'll take into account any more feedback before tomorrow, so if anyone has anything else to add please do as this is the last chance.

I see people have not voted for the ones with hashes in them but would people like this one without the hash? Just put your finger over it.

C{BITCOIN}

I did actually think of c{bitcoin} or it could be numerous things:

cbitcoin{
{cbitcoin}
cbitcoin{
{cbitcoin}
c{bitcoin}

etc.

If a hash is used it could be simple like:

#cbitcoin
#cbitcoin

Or a comment:

/* cbitcoin */
// cbitcoin

Colours can be mixed around.

Thank you everyone. The logo has been completed and can be seen on the website: http://cbitcoin.com/

Comments can still be helpful as small tweaks can still be made. I'm satisfied that the logo is both simple and representative of cbitcoin.

#5 is the only good one. #4 is okay but inferior to #5 because that top-right star shape is A) nearly identical to Walmart's logo and B) arbitrary and superfluous

Thank you for the comment. The logo has been produced and was somewhat inspired by number 5 but it makes more sense to use an opening bracket and a closing one together. Also after trying out different combinations it was decided that a lighter font works better. Obviously people will disagree on what type of font is best.

This is the logo:

There is still opportunity for change if people really hate it. I'm personally happy with it and I hope it does reflect the feedback given.

Sorry, what do you mean? A custom font? I don't think that is needed. We were going to modify the spacings of the letters from some font into a monospace arrangement but I think the sans-serif font used as it is, is fine. Obviously you can disagree.
