Hologram or gold foil sticker as provided with roll-your-owns? might be a desirable clarification.
|
Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

The Gold sticker has been on the coins for weeks its hard to peel of, and easy to see if its been tampered with.

I only pointed it out because the hologram also fits the description of a "gold sticker". Anyway, you might notice on one of your other threads that I have raised my price for orders of 9 and fewer coins on my own website. I want to encourage resale of my coins, especially in markets where international shipping is a hassle.
