You're projected to make 2.91 BTC in a year with an s5 at current difficulty. Difficulty is increasing rapidly though most likely because of all of the new s7s coming online. If you do but one, plan to be in it for the long run and that you can afford whatever increase this has in your electricity bill. It's about $42 a month in electricity at 10 cents per KwH

I doubt difficulty will be going down any time soon. Power efficiency of equipment is key at this point. That's why the s7 is great at nearly 5TH/s for only 1200 watts of power

Difficulty changes approximately every 2 weeks so you have to wait till then for a decrease or increase in earnings. There is a fairly accurate estimate of the next increase here: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty. Difficulty is increasing rather fast right now due to the rise in price so I doubt you would be guaranteed any profits at this point.

What is price the guy offered you to sell it for?  What is your electricity price (include taxes or any fees in it) per KW.    Does the country your in have a VAT/Import tax?

What is price the guy offered you to sell it for?  What is your electricity price (include taxes or any fees in it) per KW.    Does the country your in have a VAT/Import tax?

Even with free electricity it would take more than 7 months to recover your investment with an S7.

Buying and holding seems to be the best option ATM.

that number is like the target for you s-5 to make a block your s-5 needs to generate a bigger number then 72 bill very hard to do  but possible.

Here's some current S5 logs from alittle of this month as for earnings. where it changed to .01 that's because I switched pools with .01 minimum pay out, but it gets average .008/day the last number is total earning from the month also the $ earned each day is current price that day, I actually got about $85 this month at current price, not $70
