My predictions for this weekend matches:
Maritimo vs Aves: @Maritimo win or draw
Boavista vs Benfica: over 1.5
Sporting Lisbon vs Tondela: @Sporting win
Belenenses vs Estoril: under 3.5
Rio Ave vs Porto: @Porto win
Braga vs Guimaraes: over 1.5

The odds for 1.5 in this game is significantly very low and i believe going for a straight win for Benfica in this game will bring even more money. Boavista have never won against Benfica and since Benfica don't want to draw any more points like they did in the Rio Ave game, i believe that they are going to win the match outright.

I got really surprised with the defeat from Benfica. Second time they waste points this seasons, and they are only on their 6th game. Even worst than losing, is that they were actually winning right from the 7min mark, and Boavista manage to score two goals and turn the game around. I mean that was just the perfect start for them, a top team, and a lot stronger than their opponent starts winning right form the start, and does not only fair in scoring more goals, but they also lose the game. I wonder how the odds for Boavista were, once they were losing.

I'm curious to see what Sporting and Porto will do on their games. Great chance to extend their lead, and I don't think they will miss it. Specially Porto, since he is coming from a heavy defeat on Champions League. Of course they are playing vs Rio Ave that is a very hard team to beat, specially home.
I will still go for a straight win on Porto and Sporting though.

Boavista winning against Benfica is what i will call an out of blue victory. That's one of the surprises in the world of football today as well as a few hiccup in the EPL, Gamblers in football will be ruing from so many money lost today especially with Liverpool and Tottenham as well.

Rio Ave will face Porto and it's clear that the visitors are much stronger with 5 wins in row and 0 goals conceded witch shows how well their defense gets a lot of praise and the home team may wants to prove itself with good performance despite having an alright start but Porto is  a smooth scoring team with 12 goals scored in five games and they only managed to score 6 and concede 3 goals so they are defending well and not scoring much that's why I think this game wouldn't see much of goals so under 2.5 goals with the capital team wins the game.

I really don't think Porto are going to let Rio Ave thwart them in reclaiming the top spot in the Primeira Liga this weekend. Porto haven't lost to Rio Ave in their last 19 games, they sometimes loss points here and there at times but I am very convinced that by dropping points today, they will gradually be losing grounds to Sporting Lisbon who are at the top on the table. A win is thus guaranteed in this game.

Important game today between  Rio Ave and Porto. Porto comes from a heavy defeat in the Champions League, but so far is doing nice at Primeira Liga, so I think they will do their best to use this game to show that they were not affected by the game with Besiktas. Also they need to capitalize on the defeat Benfica's defeat, so this is a very important game for them. Rio Ave is not an easy team and already showed that, by getting a draw from Benfica this season. I will bet on Porto to win this one.

Porto faces Portimonense today at the Estadio do Dragao, Porto sits at the helm of the Portuguese league with a perfect record of six wins out of six, they have scored fourteen goals and have a single goal scored against them Portimonense on the other hand have six points out of a possible eighteen. I am thus tipping Porto for straight win over Portimonense.

Porto is undefeated in their last 6 games and Portimorense has 2 wins and 4 losses in previous 6 games, and are even worse when playing away. Also Porto kept 5 cleans sheets in the last 6 games and Portimosense only managed to keep a clean sheet in 1 of their last 6 games.
I see no other result than Porto winning to nil here.

Benfica are winless in their last two Primera League games, they lost away to Boavista and drew their subsequent home game against Sporting Braga. In their game against Sporting Ferreira,  I am sure that they are going to get back on winning terms. They have won fifteen games against them, drawing two and losing just a single one. Definitely going for a straight win for Benfica today.

Sporting Lisbon lost the opportunity of going on top of the Primera Liga after they could only muster draw against Moreirense today, A win today would have taken them go on top of the table with Porto but Porto would have lead on goal difference. They missed a very great opportunity today.

CD AVES vs RIO AVE
These two sides have never met in the Primera Liga asides two friendly games played between them. And they have a win each in those encounters. CD AVES are currently at the bottom of the league with four points in five games while Rio Ave are in the fifth position with ten points. I am going to tip goals under 2.5 in today's game.

I agree with you on your analysis. By virtue of Boavista playing away from home then I think I will settle for a draw else nuavusta can steal a narrow win .

No more Portuguese until next Friday, although the big game that everyone wants to see now, is on Sunday, between Sporting and Porto. That might be true, but although Porto got a heavy lost vs Besiktas, and seemed that they were kind of a short team, and the only reason they were winning in the Portuguese League, was because the teams they faced weren't that great, the truth is that after this game vs Monaco, they proved to actually be a solid team, and that game with Besiktas was the exception. Sporting made a decent game vs Barcelona, but right now Porto seems to be the stronger team of the two. I think it will be very hard for Porto to win away vs Sporting, but I don't think they will lose the game.
I go for a draw or away on this one.
