I dont think they ever used Bitcoin in first place. Someone could think ISIS used Bitcoin for their currency and now make some shitcoin when read subject of this thread. It is not close to that, they used dollars and now they mint their currency but not crypto.

So it is old news after all  Roll Eyes . Then they preferred Bitcoin for the attacks in Paris?

Well I expect none is running to buy their altcoin. Surely it would not be very tradeable.

Same reasons why governments everywhere have fiat.
Because they can mint an unlimited number; bitcoins have to be earned.

greedy altcoin traders are more evil than them.

if they made one it would be more popular than an other Altcoin to date.

why is this a problem when it's not a problem at all. they will simply force you as a merchant to accept their cryptocoins. they don't take no for an answer.

The media is desperately trying to put Bitcoin in a bad daylight. It's normal to create a new currency when you are not happy with how fiat works or even how Bitcoin works. We are in Bitcoin because we don't like the fiat financial industry. That's why Bitcoin is perfect for us.

I don't believe it would have such an effect on bitcoin. I guess I could understand why they don't like it since the government can't control it and since the media is controlled by the government, people only get to see what they want them to see on tv.

yes and they would clearly be accepted everywhere as well since they are made of gold silver and copper.  and no exchange rate to worry about as a silver coin would probably buy you a loaf of bread regardless of what country you're in.

Maybe you should read the link that you sent us, more clearly. It clearly says 2014 so why are you posting this topic now. Why is there so much bullshit about ISIS on this forum? ISIS can use whatever currency they want, they find ways to buy illegal things, something we can't stop them from doing.

Exactly. No one would buy their coins. This is the most retarded idea/theory ever. ISIS is a terrorist group are completely evil, wanting to make everyone do what they want. Their coins would be worth nothing to anyone as they probably wouldn't even be considered a currency around the world.

Unfortunately there are enough fans of IS, i can ensure you even in your near surroundings.

I think it might lead to draw away suspicion from bitcoin. Though cryptocurrencies as a whole might become attackable.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I would like to differ from you in saying that something linked to Crypto currencies, would actually draw attention to Bitcoin, because it would fall in the same category. There are already voices in many countries supporting the banning of all encrypted technologies.

The positive thing about this, is that these Alt coins would not be backed by a large network and Anonymous could target them, and take them down, wherever they would be trading.  Roll Eyes

The thing is, would somebody buy their coins?
Because many people don't trust them(because they are evil), then who want to store their coins?

Unfortunately there are enough fans of IS, i can ensure you even in your near surroundings.

I think it might lead to draw away suspicion from bitcoin. Though cryptocurrencies as a whole might become attackable.

After that we will know who are fans of ISIS much easier. And with so much talking about them we will rise price of that currency for sure.
I'm bored with this talking about them, we together make commercial for them. Mentioning ISIS every day is probably good for them and their future plans of making this world one big Califat.
Well I will buy several when they make it, in beginning they will be cheap. And later I can buy some gun or gasoline more easily.

It isn't that easy to get as much coins as they want, they need gold and silver which isn't that simply/cheaply available everywhere. And i doubt that they have access to minefields like that.
Since I don't see anything related to cryptocurrencies, i suggest to lock this topic.

Roll Eyes

Yes, that risk exists. Well, let's see how the future turns out to be. I would want to know beforehand when bitcoin is in danger to be forbidden in important countries. I don't want to ride the price to the bottom.

I think you should not touch them at all. It probably could be seen as supporting terrorism when funding their ICO. You surely won't be connected to this. You know... guantanamo and worse things...

http://edition.cnn.com/2014/11/13/world/meast/isis-currency/index.html?hpt=hp_c2

--- ISIS is planning to mint its own currency in gold, silver and copper, the group said Thursday.

Its aim is to stay away from the "tyrant's financial system," ISIS said in a statement. It said it would issue another statement to explain the new currency's exchange rate, and where it can be found.

The currency will include seven coins: two gold, three silver and two copper.

The move is "purely dedicated to God" and will remove Muslims from the "global economic system that is based on satanic usury," ISIS said.

It seems none of the government/organization that powerful enough is interested in bitcoin, they all want to make their own currency  Grin
this is sound good,so people can stop saying about "bitcoin used by ISIS for buying weapon" or "ISIS using bitcoin for fund"
at least bitcoin not have minor label again, because we all know, its not good for us.

This coin will be heavily observed by every western agency to find potential isis supporters. It might be shown that way that cryptocurrencies are not as safe as some think and it might lead to bitcoin getting out of danger of getting banned.

Surely alot of people will fall in that trap.

First this is not nothing I would be concerned with.  They are ISIS and they are not that smart.  The issue with them is that there are to many stupid people making the decisions preventing others from stopping them.  As for their currency, they are even dumber.  First they are crooks, so what they say will be gold will probably be some ripped down version.  Next they are dedicating this movement towards god.  Who would any god care about the rished of a mortal world???  Let me guess, they need $1,000,000 ISIS dollar in order to purchase a new car?  Get real, gold and riches presented to any god is a waste f time and those who think it makes them worthy are stupider than they think.
