When atheists say they don't believe in god they actually do, subconsciously
Well, that's certainly possible, but the study's a bit ambiguous IMO. Would you see similar results if you replaced "God" with "Aliens" or "Ghosts"?
I don't think that peoples' emotional response from something is necessarily related to their belief in it.
Also bear in mind that most atheists don't claim 100% that there is no god, just that the evidence for a god is not strong enough to logically take a position of belief for one.
