Thank you YoBit for the quick listing. This is an unexpectedly quick and amazing development. Well this looks interesting ... How and when did this get mined? Is POW? over is it POS? The OP is unusually empty I have to say.
Information about this coin has been posted in this thread with additional links to relevant discussions elsewhere. The OP has been updated with some basic specs. The website has the most information. C0fferc0oin - who owns the richlist, you?
Website, block explorer and store are all managed by me under the c0ffer "umbrella". Getting caught up on this event with more news to follow. Thank you to everyone for your support.

10%/year? ONLY? Wow, too much low.
10% / 365 days = 0.027 (0.0027%) per day (24HRS)
if you have 5000 c0c0 x 0.027 (0.0027%) = you will get [1.35 c0c0]
Not good coin. Hopefully will increase.

Thank you to everyone for your feedback and support for c0fferC0in. Activity on YoBit has been very positive so far. The current rate of exchange offers many opportunities for serious bargains at the store. It wouldn't be bad at all if you at least shared some more information about the coin, the POS system and more...
c0fferC0in is based on a fork of Blackcoin (actually a fork of a fork) with obviously modified parameters to adjust for the economic factors. Many considerations were taken in choosing this as the base technology for c0fferC0in. In this particular implementation the nature of the underlying technology is not as important as it's ability to transfer digital tokens and integrate with other existing systems. 10%/year? ONLY? Wow, too much low.
10% / 365 days = 0.027 (0.0027%) per day (24HRS)

Careful consideration has been given to the values associated with the debasement of c0fferC0in because of it's relationship to physical product. c0fferC0in can be exchanged for gemstones at the c0ffer gemstone store based on fixed c0c0 pricing. The store is currently up and running so it is possible to buy c0fferC0ins right now and then buy gemstones using those tokens. If you do a price comparison of your buying power right now based on current rates you will see where the potential starts to become apparent. The low interest rate results in a manageable supply of tokens that can more easily correlate with the value of the gemstones available.

Hopefully it won't. If you want a hyperinflationary coin - there's plenty of those. Even 10% is way above the rate of inflation in real life and it still remains to be seen how this can be sustained.

Thank you again to everyone for your feedback and inquiries. Thanks. So what's the distribution plan, or do you own all 10,000,000 coins so far?
So far I am in possession of the majority of the coin supply. Some of the coins are being distributed through YoBit orders. I will be auctioning some coins here. I am also accepting OTC offers via PM (and escrowed if requested). At any time people are welcomed (and encouraged) to order gemstones from the store. If anyone wishes to make a purchase but outside of the store, please feel free to PM me to discuss. This may be applicable to anyone wanting to use escrow services or those who are waiting to see how well the store works through testing by others. ... Hopefully will increase.
Hopefully it won't. If you want a hyperinflationary coin - there's plenty of those... Agreed. Any coin with a high inflation rate will have problems in sustaining value. Even 10% is way above the rate of inflation in real life and it still remains to be seen how this can be sustained.
I'm not ignoring this comment, I am just making sure not to be hasty with my response.

Even 10% is way above the rate of inflation in real life...
For national currencies rates of inflation vary from country to country and are also based on many other factors. For the c0fferC0in stake reward it was set based on the approximate gains made from gemstone holdings in recent years. This potentially simulates that gain if a person were to hold their c0fferCoins for the staking reward. If people redeem their staking rewards for physical product then the cost calculations become very different. People who hold c0fferC0ins for staking are also keeping them from open circulation and with a low inflation rate this potentially has a positive impact on the value. In the long-term, if 10% indeed turns out to be the "wrong" level of inflation that initial rate should provide an easier to measure adjustment value. ...and it still remains to be seen how this can be sustained.
This is very true. All of this was based initially on speculation. It is now being tested in the open market and so far things look very promising.

c0fferC0in is based on the ability to purchase gemstones from a store that is currently stocked with inventory. While pricing for gemstones in the store for BTC is based on market exchange rates, the pricing in c0c0 is fixed. This should have the effect of bringing the price of c0fferC0in to the perceived market value of the gems available which are based on (semi)standard prices. There is a physical cost associated with gemstones so c0fferC0ins, because they can immediately be exchanged for gemstones, inherit that value. Giving away c0fferC0ins would be the same as giving away gemstones which is not viable nor "fair". The fixed-price physical inventory component to c0fferC0in makes it very different from other cryptocurrencies. c0fferC0ins were not pre-sold on the promise of offering physical product, there is an actual inventory of gemstones available now. If the market is flooded with c0fferC0ins then the price drops. If someone can buy a surplus of cheap coins they have the potential to clean out my inventory. If c0fferC0ins were/are sold at a value that is too high then no perceived value will be accomplished and it's use will diminish. If you compare your buying power in the store using BTC versus BTC converted to c0fferC0in at it's current rate you will see where the potential exists. This is the basis for what makes c0fferC0in different and significant.

From here: http://www.c0ffer.com/store/index.php?page=cats&id=112.33 ctw Ruby 559,200 c0c0 2,438.93928 mBTC ($1,118.40 USD)
3.55 ctw Ruby 1,029,500 c0c0 4,490.14305 mBTC ($2,059.00 USD)
7.48 ctw Ruby 74,000 c0c0 1,631.19330 mBTC ($748.00 USD)
The last one seems to be considerably cheaper than first two, while being bigger. Typo? Or they have some clarity/quality differences? Could you please explain the prices above?

Nice project associate gemstones with cryptocurrency, but it seem bct users not interested , so maybe need to spend some money to promote your gemstones store outside bct for example a good article in famous magazine (specialized magazine) and hit two birds with one stone , get more online sales and c0c0 coin became valuable in exchange sites.

Yes, I can provide updates about the initial supply. I will assemble an overview and post it here and at the site. I will be posting more details in the upcoming days as more coins get distributed however here is the latest information: - 1M (one million) c0c0 are currently reserved for network nodes - 1M (one million) c0c0 are "in the wild" - 3M (three million) c0c0 will be auctioned here The remaining 5M (five million) coins are still to be allocated/distributed. More news will follow as I get caught up on posts and adding information to the site.
