I see only ups and downs which makes today the price the same as yesterday, hope tomorrow a new starting week the price will be above 400 USD

I don't mind to see these ups and downs stay for a longer period as I have made a decent profit today with daytrading.

I have the feeling that the price can go up significantly at any time. I'll find out tomorrow if this is indeed the case, but one thing is sure, the comming months will be more than interesting with a lot profit making opportunities. The rise is definitely not over

Time will show how much u are wrong. And while I`m reading this comments I`m thinking about do anyone of us know something for sure? I`m tryin to follow all this speculations, commenting, searchin news on the internet and I see much more good predictions then bed. I believe in rise , what I don`t know and hard for me to predict is when will it stop. And on wich price can settle for longer period.

Bitfinex went over $400 3 times today. It only didn't manage to maintain its position above that level. At Bitstamp, where I trade, we still need to touch the $400 price level.

Bitfinex went over $400 3 times today. It only didn't manage to maintain its position above that level. At Bitstamp, where I trade, we still need to touch the $400 price level.

Different exchanges seems to have different rates and the difference seems to be up to $10. Everyone has its own preference where to trade but trade where you trust them and if you think you can make a greater profit.

in past month we are seeing small price change and that is good we come from 220 to 390 in just more then a month

Yes until halving I believe we can expect some surprises always with bitcoin prices. Because people are in race to catch the possible lower prices. I believe we can see new heights around Christmas days to new year. I hope $500 before end of this year.

buying and holding is the best strategy now that bitcoin is a joke in terms of value, unless you don't believe in bitcoin...

We should not just hope, but should get ahead to our family and friends, tell them and get them involved into Bitcoins...
As for this to happen, we need solid investors to enter the markets and take the prices back above where we want them to be at...

Yeah, I think you generally hold, sell a little on tops (but if in doubt do nothing)  and buy on dips.

In general, I think that's really bad advice.  No one knows where a top is or if a dip is really a dip.  If you claim otherwise you're lying--to youself or others.

The speculation we see on forum is made by people not holding the amount of bitcoins which on dumping might effect the price.
however, I dont think it could be a whale one to manipulate the price etc... But there couldn't be any huge price rise until new merchants , businesses , services etc. start accepting it ,which is not likely to happen in less than a decade.
