I would imagine so considering mt.gox is probably the most popular exchange out there.

Wire transfers from UK are not cheap like SEPA transfers are.  And international wires to UK banks are expensive also.

But which direction are you needing, to an exchange or from?

For buying bitcoins, Barclays Pingit through Blockchain.info seems to fill the gap for many:

For cashing out I was going to suggest this one service but ...

Had my uk bank accounts frozen today , all trades were completed no bitcoins or gbp owed to any customers - will update the thread once the these issues are resolved .
