[NFO] Top20 Post-Stats by Coin-Name (DEC 3rd 2015)

Altcoin forum-section Post-Stats in order of CoinmarketCap.com Rank 03/12/2015

My list is the result of counting how many pages of results show up doing a search in ALT Main for a given coin.
To make it easier i rounded off the numbers to an average of 30 results x how ever many pages was shown.
(So some pages may not have been a full 30) ..so 30 would be the lowest score.

So it's an estimate of how many post results come up if you do a search for a given coin name.
(coin names below were used, copied from CoinMarketCap.com)

in order of.. MarketCap Rank, Page Hits, Coin Name, Launch Date.

I tried to use Google to find the proper launch dates (not just using forum ANN topic dates)
Also i think this shows a general popularity level among the scene.. a gauge of sorts.

too bad apart from bitcoin they score awfully low on userbase..i bet some of them dont even have 100 users. i want to see a top 20 on userbase.

Valuable data! The retrieval process is automized? Or do you intend to uptdate on a timeframe (monthly) ?

In a world of deceit some stable statistics might be advised. One day even these data will be gamed to the max.

The only metric I ever "developped" on my own is looking more like a "rule by thumb". If a (new) coin is traided ONLY on Bittrex, it is 100% scam. So far, that one never ever failed me.

Yeah adding user base stats would be cool i thought of that too.. not sure how we'd do that though.

Also YES i was considering doing an update monthly or so.
More stats are better.. in time it would build a better picture of things.

I hope you all find the info interesting, it was a pain in the ass to compile.

I had to do some stuff today so i did what i could..
I also wanted to add a percentage of page hits per day.

Bytecoin pissed people off loooong ago close to when i started Crypto because..
It was being mined for years by 1 guy.
He basically allowed it to be considered dead never mentioned it then mined it by himself for years..
then the big re-launch later..

Maybe go trough the block explorers, to find out if there's some data on that.

there is the issue of "orders of magnitude"

BTC LTC ETH xRP Doge = the power trade coins, just check the vol. numbers

after that are coins that trade +$30k everday

after that are coins that trade +$10k everday

after that are coins that trade +$3k everday

some of the Top20 market cap coins fail to trade +$1k everday
