The U.S. House of Representatives, led by Hank Johnson, is now trying to block bitcoiners from inhabiting the island due to concerns: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNZczIgVXjg#t=76s

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.
