has anyone bought the new models yet?  Is there a nice easy GUI interface for the simple minded?  Can I attempt to over clock within the controlling software's own settings?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

A) Yes, people have bought them. No, people are not yet mining on them.

B) CGMiner is pretty simple to set up, and while it does not have a GUI, it does have a HUGE amount of community support if you ever get stuck. Supposedly BFL's own EasyMiner will be mining by then, which is a GUI program. If that doesn't work, BitMinter is a GUI miner that is VERY easy to set up. All 3 are supposed to work with BFLs hardware by the time they start shipping.

C) That is still unknown, but if it is an option, it will most likely be thru BFL's own program, EasyMiner.

Like the previous post.. Bitminter is plug n' play.  www.bitminter.com  All you do is click on a link, and the software will configure everything for you.  Plus, it's really neat to look at while you're mining.

I don't think that there is a need to overclock on the Bitminter client.  It automatically uses the optimal settings for your graphics card type.
