What Are Some Ways Dice and Gambling Sites Scam Customers?

I was reading another thread about where to invest bitcoin, and after obtaining a good reaming for mentioning ore-mine.org, someone mentioned they were renting out dice bots that supposedly pay out after thirty days, this making it more difficult for the dice site to catch onto them. Also, they masked the IP address of the bot recipient so the dice sites can't do something shady.

What are some of the ways that a admin can tilt the tables in Bitcoin Dice sites to skew the results? Can they give you a few winning leads and then hit you with a row of 20 losses? Is it possible on "provably fair" sites? I am interested especially if someone has an active admin panel, I don't want to see it, I just think it would make for mind candy and interesting reading.

I think there are no real ways for dice sites to "scam" you by altering something with the probably fair script. They usually have the script available so you can test it out and everything. I just think that people say they can scam you when they make it seem like they have a very secure and reliable API and then one day when you log in all your funds are gone.

Usually members who are screaming scam are the ones who just took a loss on a site. Ask yourself what a site would have to gain by scamming you? Sure they could get a few coins but why try to scam a few coins when you can run a legit business and make a heck of a lot more in the long run

There are a couple of scamming methods used by dice sites, but for doing that they have to risk their entire reputation and most likely be caught in the end. Two examples of dice sites manipulating the results are: 999dice way and dicebitco.in way, you can google them for further information

But if the player actively checks his roll information before and after the roll is made, there is AFAIK no way for the casino to cheat.

Those dice bot's doesn't really work or they can guarantee the win. Already most of the sites have autoplay bot and some of the hacker try to duplicate it as program. This program can send your login details to the programmer, he than can withdraw all of your money from that dice account. This will make people to complain about dice site scamming them. With fair dice script i don't think dice site can alter the result, but the house always win due to people being more greedy every time they win.

There can be a couple of ways I have noticed being a web developer :
Provably Fair - The probably fair scripts or charts or whatever they show you its probably fake and you will never make a huge amount of money because they are programmed in such a way that they have the redirect URL's where actual scams are done.Some code like if they amount is less than x let them win if the bet amount is greater than Y let them lose .
100*Wins Lucky gets *100 Such thing doesn't exist .They winners of such offers are bots !!

No access URL found Middle of the bet ,if you by chance won a huge lottery ,you will see error showing the server crash or no access or any bullshit message you are suppose to buy.

Yes I agree on that. And moreover when they ask their admin about their pending withdrawal. If it is not directly taken care of they will said this is scam site, they didnt know that they need to take care not only his problem here but many. Some may be scam because they can't get some profit but mostly will stay as long as they can keep profit

If someone claims to have a bot or a strategy that will help you win in dice game in the long run, he is lying. Regarding the scam part, the most common type is exit scam, and we have seen a lot of examples already.

But many think that using the autobot provided by the dice site and betting above a certain BTC or if using martingale skews the results in the admins favor. Even if it is provavly fair.

But its simply impossible to prove without the actual code. Its just speculation.

If you actively verify each of your bet then you will know exactly if your rolls are rigged however the thing with rolling with autobet is that you will be rolling hundreds or thousands of bets making it hard to verify every of your rolls

PassiveDice is a scam, don't spend a single penny on their so-called bot.
It is not possible for a dice site that is provably fair to cheat their players, IMO. Because players can verify each of their bets.

i believe the easiest way to scam people for them is to include an investment option and then runaway with all people funds and investments im pretty sure there was one website that did that though i cant remember the name of it

You're talking about dice.ninja , AFAIK thats the only site with that exit scam "method".
