hello guys..

i am using electrum 2.0 on my windows pc and everything was going just fine and without any problems..

now i cant send any transactions any longer because of the new update.

but when i update to 2.5.4 or any higher version than 2.0 electrum is just not starting.

please help me, i cant do anything at the moment.

best regards

UPDATE:

now the payment was just normally sent, when i looked at block explorer, there was written "rejected by our node because of high value" or something like that, but everything was going through fine..

im happy about that, but i have no idea whats going on here.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

There was an attack that changed signatures. A certain value was changed from low to high. Bitcoin core was patched to not allow high values any more to reduce the impact of the effect. Electrum however used a high value for their signatures (it did not matter in the past) so you will constant problems until you upgrade.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.
