Hi all

just got my new computer which came with an R9 i fired up ltcrabbits sgminer just to give it a run out, but was wondering what everyone thought about running it full time?  its been about 2 years since i last mined using GPU, is it worth it these days?  the diff was significantly lower back then.

im currently getting 2482 k/h with the card.

cheers

GPU mining and LTC really isn't feasible nowadays.  It's moved onto ASICs.  However if you want to do it for fun and to hoard a bit of coin then go right ahead.

NXS is on the move!   Come subscribe to our subreddit  https://www.reddit.com/r/nexusearth/

No, if you want to mine LTC I suggest picking up a cheap stick miner and dip your toes in the water, 1.2mh/s @ 5w and you're supporting the community. For 60$ worth of stick miners you are getting 2.4mh/s and at 10w and saving your Graphic Card's life.

This. Support the community and the environment in the most efficient manner possible. It doesn't matter how much you mine as long as you mine! Save your R9 for a cool video game or porn!
