Mods can't do nothing about this. Already reported him to BB though(like 5 hrs ago), and this is a clear case of trust spamming. I'd expect them to be deleted at most by the next 7 days

I don't take that as a solution for this problem. If those deleted then he will do that again and again
And i don't think moderators have access to delete trusts of any user. That can only be done from the administrative level i guess

The admins (I believe only theymos handles this) can and do delete trust ratings that are clearly spam, which, IIRC is defined as sending similar ratings at a high volume (or something like that). I believe this person does meet that criteria. Theymos will also remove negative trust if an account is sold and then gets fake hacked.

I don't think the removal of that kind of trust is removed automatically though, so you will need to ask (maybe theymos will remove all the trust sent from him if just one person asks, IDK).

also WaterSupply is a likely alt of this guy, however WaterSupply is also a likely purchased account only a few days ago

He's done that in the past when I reported a trust spammer to him. He removed the spam left on me and other users.
As said, just contact theymos and he will be sorted out.

This is the sort of trust that the user was leaving with another user so it was perhaps removed to it being repeated. Since the trusts are different for you it may not be as obvious as spam, though it should still be removed. Have you contacted him about it recently?

It seems to be a sold account. The new owner has bought it just to trust spam? I guess this calls for a ban as spam is spam whether posts/trust ratings.

If I had to guess I would say that he wanted to hide his identity when leaving those trust ratings. He even purchased an account to buy that account only a few days ago....

Why would he buy an account to spam feedback when he could have done it for free from a newb account? Doesn't make sense.

He probably wanted to hide his identity. He probably bought the 1st account from a newb account (or his main account), then changed the password only when logged in via tor, then used that purchased account to buy the 2nd account, also only using tor.

I still cannot explain why he would not simply use the 1st purchased account to spam that feedback.....obviously all of the above is speculation

No although there has never been an indication that the trust system is moderated or that the 300 or so would be removed. Turns out as well that most of those accounts were BFL staff.

I've requested he be dealt with but admins probably have better things to do right now but hopefully it'll get removed because it is quite blatantly trollspam.

Apparently I'm affected as well and I wouldn't even have noticed if you hadn't brought it up. I guess theymos should make a limit of how many negatives could be given out in X period of times or something like that. I do not see a reason for which someone should be allowed to post e.g. 50 negative ratings in a short period of time.

Could be an idea but it could restrict those members who are active in policing the Marketplace though it's probably even rare that they leave more than a handful of feedbacks a day (though maybe the number of feedbacks you can leave is tied to your own rep or rank etc). I don't think it's a big problem though as with any untrusted trollfeedback you (and others) can just ignore/disregard it but hopefully it'll be removed when the admins have got time.

I understand your point of view and concur. Maybe it could be tied to the rank in order to prevent newbies spam. However, just because it can be ignored/disregarded that doesn't mean that we should tolerate it. If something can be simply done against it, even if it only has a minor effect it is worth a shot. It is much better than doing nothing IMO.
