Troubles with download of my LTC wallet

I have troubles with the download of my LTC core v 0.10.2.2 wallet.
I have tried it three times again and always does the download stop at the moment i am 2 years and 48 week behind. It always stops at 270672 blocks.
Is there somebody who has the same problem and someone who can help me?

Is it a must to have the whole blockchain on your pc?

If not then maybe consider Electrum LTC, you can be up and running in a matter of minutes.

I have tried with electrum and indeed you see within a few minutes the LTC amount in my wallet.
BUt i can't sent them.
How do you do that?

Just started all over. Downloaded again and thet same problem at 2 year and 48 weeks behind.
Can somebody help me?
Maybe with addnodes or so? I don't know anymore.

I had constantly the same problem.
Now i'm downloading an old version :
v0.8.6.1
THis one has passed the 2 years and 48 weeks.
Now i'm only 136 weeks behind.
There is however a popup that says i have to update to the latest version ....
Can i wait until i have downloaded all the weeks to do the update?

Everything is OK now.
Started with downloading an old version.
Than halfaway i upgraded to the new version and everything works perfect now.
