Sure, we all know that in the USA, most of Europe, China (mining anyway), Argentina, etc. that BTC use appears to be growing fast.
I am just back from India and Nepal, where I saw ZERO about BTC adoption, only ONE (USA) person in our tour group had even heard about Bitcoin, he had read about it, never used it. bitcointalk member bryant.coleman wrote that tekkies in India ARE looking at and beginning to use Bitcoin.

Well, what other countries are beginning to see BTC use take off?

You cant expect to stumble upon irl (in real life) people that know about Bitcoin and let alone own somea nd use them, it's really really rare, even in developed countries in USA and Europe. I have never seen a person in real life that knew what Bitcoin was, which is actually good news for us because it shows how ahead of the pack we still are.

i havnt heard of occasisons when it has been used in third world countries if thats what you are looking although i am sure that it is being used, why not it has great value at the moment. but i would also say that the mainstream adoption hasnt happened yet, andreas antonopolas said on the joe rogan show (well i think thats where it was) that people in bitcoin now are not the early adopters we are the fringe lunitics that everyone else thinks are mad............ r day is coming...... hold on tight

I think that other than the countries that you have mentioned, plus a couple more, are the only countries that are going to use bitcoin. I think that people, especially third world countries, may never see a bitcoin in their life.

You haven't seen anyone in real life that uses bitcoin. Because I know a couple of people that use bitcoin and I see them in my day to day life. It is true that we are ahead of the pack now, but a lot of people are starting to use bitcoin and soon we will be stripped of this "ahead of the pack" medal.

As far as I've heard BTC is starting to take off in the UK, Germany and Holland too. I just hope it spreads further through Europe!

Holland has actually quite some users already. Also, some great services are from the Netherlands. Blocktrail is based in Amsterdam, and bitonic, a great service for buying bitcoins is also from there. In addition, a lot of cities have multiple bars and shops that accept bitcoin and even altcoins (atleast they did at one point, accept guldencoin at several subway shops).

I visited Kenya < Nairobi > last year and they had BitPesa. The tourist guide showed us how it worked at a tavern < We call it a bar > and he says it converts digital currency such as bitcoin into local African currencies. M-pesa is more common, but bitcoin is making some in roads into the country.
I was amazed at the level of knowledge these guys had about mobile payment services. ^hmf^

Bitcoins can only be adopted in the countries where the internet penetration is growing at a very high rate. You need to know that bitcoins trading only takes place online and if the country is not embracing the connectivity, then it will be very hard for them to adopt. I am sure that with reliable internet connection, people can be able to google and just figure out what the bitcoin trading is all about.

we were in the virgin islands during the summer and we saw nothing. We even asked a few of the smaller business that looked to have good enough technology and nada. Some places didn't have any computers just a calculator so we didnt bother with those.

Well, soon, more people will learn about it, and I believe it's only the beginning. Asia's first bitcoin atm has arrived in Singapore, so just give everyone time to know about it. I got to know about bitcoin through my friends two years back, only through them, if not I wouldn't know such thing existed.

We have some time before the big rise. I have met some people who knew about bitcoin in one way or another. That said, it is pretty rare to meet people who know about bitcoin. Here in Taiwan I meet people who know about bitcoin and even use it all the time. Since one of my friends introduced me to it 2 months ago I've started to talk about it around me and noticed that quite a few of my acquaintances were in fact already using it, or at least knew about it. Most of the people I know who know about bitcoin are American though. I know very few Taiwanese people who are interested in it, as of now.

In Croatia, we have BTM machine and coffee shop where you can pay with Bitcoin (i heard there is another coffee shop but never checked). Other than that, we have Bitcoin Exchange Bitkonan.com. We have small but active community and i hope there will be more places where we can pay with Bitcoin and more related events.

I got to know about bitcoin through my friends two years back, only through them, if not I wouldn't know such thing existed. Our prime minister kinda suggested banks to explore blockhain technology. Unsure about impact on adoption of Bitcoin, I Guess it gives coverage. however regarding the btc atms they seem to have been shut down, most of them
