I'm not sure if this is allowed, but if anyone has a couple free bitcoins that they'd give away i'd be forever greatful. I'll pay you back in USD if u want in a month, but at the moment i dont have a way to get any coins ordered. If u can find it in your hearts to help a young chap, Thank You!  Smiley EDIT: also, the faucet has run dry

If you just want to test out bitcoins, go to the testnet - the faucet there should still have a few thousand coins.

Keep in mind though that the testnet is just what it says in the name: NOT bitcoin! You won't be able to cash out, but you can try the client if you want.

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

At this point, 2-3 may be a pretty tall order but maybe someone has .1 or .2 to toss around. Unfortunately, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you right now. If anyone has 2-3 to give away, I could use some too Tongue

There was a site that used to give you .5 BTC to get you started. I can't remember the name though and they're probably dead now that BTC is $18. Can anyone remember? faucet or something?

EDIT: I see the OP mentioned it already. Sowwy OP.

If you promise to pay back in BTC i imagine it would be better, paying back in USD will return to the lender less than they lend you, unless you correct for the exchange rate by the time you pay back.

(I dont always get new reply notifications, pls send a pm when you think it has happened)
