I know Avast! may have a false positive as it is a java miner, but when I click BitcoinPlus it detects

HTML:RedirME-inf [Trj]

Safe or not?

BA Computer Science, University of Oxford
Dissertation was about threat modelling on distributed ledgers.

In case of doubt, I always use something like http://virusscan.jotti.org/ or https://www.virustotal.com/ which allows me to check the file with 40+ virus scanners.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Don't trust virus scanners.
In case of doubt run it in a VM. (A real one... not java's)

No, it is not malware.
Some scanners just pick it up by accident because of bitcoin botnets.

Anyone who uses it on a website will have the website blocked on most browsers and search engines because it is detected as malware.
