The reputation and the track record would be the most important factor. With no reputation and/or good track records, the casino has a significantly higher chance of closing down with the investor's money. There has been too many of such instances and it isn't worth it to take the risk anymore.

Provably fair would probably be next to the reputation. The casino can always use a flawed/non existent provably fair system to cheat the user. It is only alright if the results checks out. Although there is always a possibility of the casino skipping nonce on certain bets.

You are indeed correct, but people may have different thinking. For some people giveaway to test out the site is a must but it is useless for some others. For people with low bankroll, giveaway will help alot in order to try the site without risking their own money. I think thats why he look for promotional giveaway when choosing a casino.

I would say roulette. It's an easy game and I like to play it from time to time. Although I don't do it very often.
I would also look for promotions to help get the house edge a little smaller. But the most important would be the level of trust o the site, and the quality of the support, because most casinos have the same games, so it all comes down to trust in the end.
