Im thinking about this. as why do sig. campaign or almost all sig. camp. offer only jr. members or higher? why not give chance for a new users to prove themselves? is there anything that happen before?

1. The signature space or code is limited, therefore only a small code or words can be shown only.
2. Newbies tend to spam the forum which is not good sight to everyone.

I don't know if you notice but there are other ways to earn here for newbies aside from signature campaign. Just go around the forum and you'll see.

Looking at the signature campaign list here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

Seems like there is bitvest and yobit would be your best bet.
Also since newbies can't have hyperlinks in their signature until Jr. Member makes it harder for a campaign to get direct clicks.

But as lemipawa said, there always is something going on around the forums. Services / Service Discussion / Service Announcements / Gambling / Investor Based Games, usually have something up.

It is hard for signature campaign managers to prevent such things but it is easy to tell if they have
#1. Same posting style
#2. Same posting timing.

Most campaign that enforce this rule is those using fixed pay style. They do not want users to abuse their higher payments and want to give more exposure to the public. It wouldn't work if the users are posting in the same section.

Anyway, if I were the campaign manager, I wouldn't allow anything under full member. A full member requires 2 months to build and if bought, it is still relatively expensive. Compared to newbies, they are less likely to spam. Remember, many forum members including myself detest spamming. Spamming would just give a negative image to the company.

And yeah, the styling is better the higher you go. It would be useless to put a signature ad that doesn't allow anyone to click to go to the company's page. Many would just not bother with it.

The newbie stage is short lived anyway and best used to ask some questions and to get a feel for the forum and it's rules. The advertisers do not want to pay for mostly non-constructive posting. The other members wants a spam-free environment to discuss Bitcoin.

If more signature campaigns offered newbies entry into this and the board gets spammed, more experienced people will leave and we will be left with a forum full of signature spammers.

Take the time to see what is posted on the forum and ask the questions while you are a newbie, and you will be jr member before you even know it. ^hmf^

Otherwise multi account were made really easy to do in a signature campaign, which isn't fair according to the company. U just need to level your account by being active and contributing to the forum.

Even when all the newbies tend to post trolls, spam, and bullshits? Would be a bad idea for the campaign holder imo.

also, and i'm guessing here, it's more interesting for the campaign manager to attract higher ranking members because they already have tons of posts in indexed parts of the forum before they join.

If you attract a senior member with 2.000 posts, evenly spread over 1 year, you get immediate feedback when he changes his sig code, because it's shown under those 2.000 posts. And since the fictional senior member is active since 1 year, a lot of these posts were previously indexed by google, thus receive search engine traffic immediately.

If you attract a newbie, his sig will only be under a very limited amount of posts, most of them not even indexed by a search engine (yet).

The reasons could be: the newbie post quality is not good, the signature effect for newbie is too small. the higher ranks ones got more colour in their signature.

Mostly because advertisers do not want you just to flash their image but to post a relevant post as well. Newbies rarely know enough about topics present to post high quality posts.

from newbie to become jr. member is it takes very little time and posts. it is good time for new member of forum to  familiarize themselves with community
I think it would be crowd of spams, and dead newbie account. this is the best option

Newbies and not consider as newbie in their experience, skills or in any other field, but the rank limits them by not having enough characters in their signature and the availability to have an avatar.

Newbies can not have any large signature and some things are unlocked at higher ranks, for example you only can have an avatar if your rank is full member or higher. The higher your rank gets, the more things that u can have/do in your signature space. I believe that also u unlock some new colors and sizes.

And most of the time the older people on here, have a better knowledge about bitcoin than newbies.

I think the newbie or junior member's signatures are too small. They will not attract the attention of many people.

i remember when i was a newbie i did not even know what a signature campaign is so i guess any other new user would not know it from the start.

and after a while when you become Jr member, you find out about them and also know enough about bitcoin to be able to post on the forum.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
