This stuff looks quite a bit overpriced for me, and around such a miracle thingy we should see a lot of discussions and a lot of marketing. According to my experience if such a "ground braking" thing is so overpriced but was released in a "ninja launch" style that used to mean the inventors want to cash out quickly until they can = some sort of scam.

Weren't you the guy who made the "AMA about conspiracies" thread? No offense buddy, but you really need to be careful of confirmation bias in your "research", and you need to check your sources a little more thoroughly. While this device is a (very slim) possibility, perhaps you should be a little more skeptical. I mean there are HUGE alarm bells here, eg. the site doesn't explain how it works, it just says "pulls energy from the wheelwork of nature". Uhhhh, OK. I found another quote where he says: "I think what might be happening is that we are splitting time." Hmmm. I'm calling this an obvious scam for now, there's literally no evidence that this works, not to mention the CEO obviously knows nothing about physics and all of his public demos have failed. Apparently he blamed one of the failures on "hot stage lights".

Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance.
I don't see an issue with so-called free energy devices. This could just be an oversized broadband crystal radio pulling power from the sun, radio stations, power lines and any other source of em radiation.
The comments so far accusing this of being a scam are probably correct however. Do you think the powers that be will let technology that stops the continuous flow of fiat from your pocket to theirs? In bitcoinland scams are the #1 technique the establishment is using to fight BTC.
The current state-of-the-art free energy technology is solar power and it's a good start to get that hand out of your pocket.

Of course it could be a rectenna, but they said nothing about how this stuff working. The "wheelwork of nature" is a but thin for explanation, especially after two failed demonstrations. So the whole thing is quite suspicious.

Probably fake yes BUT, you get the "classified" stamp if you try and patent "disruptive" technology.

Last I checked you still need energy to create energy since energy isn´t created out of nothing - a perpetual problem for makers of perpetual machines from time immemorial. So, this free energy term that is still being bandied about is total nonsense.

1. Not only is energy not created out of nothing it can't be created (or destroyed) period. 2. "the perpetual motion machine" is a straw man; a closed system is impossible. The solar cell, the windmill, the waterwheel, etc.. all these are "free energy" devices. If somebody creates a device that taps a not so obvious flow of energy you're just being ignorant screaming perpetual motion machine.

First thing I´d check is whether this "pulls energy from the environment" concept works in a dark room, ie. without the influence of light.

Well, since clearly you don´t understand the term perpetual machine so you probably think that windmills, solar cells, hydroelectric stations etc. build and maintain themselves free of charge. What kind of energy does this device use to "draw energy out of the environment"?

Just google the keyword "rectenna design" and you will find plenty of papers and actual designs about how to extract "free energy" from your neighbours wifi networks .

This is like saying Bitcoin is a ponzi because scammers. Do you understand why perpetual motion machines are impossible? It's a strawman argument; closed systems are impossible.

Just google the keyword "rectenna design" and you will find plenty of papers and actual designs about how to extract "free energy" from your neighbours wifi networks . I guess you need to charge a free capacitor to make that free energy usable. Anyway, how much is your neighbor´s wifi supposed to yield? Can a day´s worth charge your phone for longer than five seconds?
