Maybe there is already a thread about this. 44*10 minutes. 440 minutes divided by 60. In 7.3 hours. The clock here is now 10.12 so statistically it would be completed in 18:00 in my country. Now this is just rough math.

So in short: In about 8 hours block 210000 will have been created. Is it the 210001th block that will have a value of 25 bitcoins while block 210000 will have the value of 50, or will both have a value of 25 BTC?

There may still be hope for the 1st decentralized cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. How to approach different subjects is key to progress.

Block 0 had 50 so block 210000 is the first with 25.

It's already on block 209994 right now. Definitely Blockchain.info's charts would be very interesting for the next few days  Roll Eyes

Interesting.  If there are a LOT of people trying to do that, then I suppose that the once who are willing to offer the largest fee will be successful.  How big of a fee are you planning on including?
