I attempt to put my email as private in my account settings but it continues to show my email address with my posts.  I do not want this.  Do I have to reach a certain amount of posts to get this privacy option?? thank you in advance.

Your email is hidden now. Only you can see your own email all the time. If it appears in cursive for you then it means it's hidden for everyone else.
