I hear a lot of people who say they are voting for Trump. A surprising number actually. They don't even care what the others have to say.

According to the opinion polls, somewhere between 40% and 45% of the voters intend to vote for Trump if the POTUS 2016 choice is between him and Hillary. That is a LOT of people. The important thing here is that Hillary has been losing support ever since she launched her campaign, while Trump has seen his support levels going up slowly, but consistently.

Really Hillary is a loser of a candidate.

No matter how much lipstick you put on that pig....

Trump will get both Trump votes and anti-Hillary votes.

What more does one need?
Frankly, no one won, because none of the candidates had the balls to tell the audience about the real problem causing the U.S. domestic consumer economic collapse.

True, I agree with you the main agenda behind election is to select an eligible leader who could improve country's economy and help the country grow further but these two candidates don't have that quality and capability

Look. All the Presidents were, and candidates are, on the take. Here's what I mean.

Any candidate worth his weight would explain to the people how the income tax is voluntary. Then he would promise to show the people how to successfully fight the IRS and win, once he was elected, of course.

When the people stopped paying taxes, there would be no more borrowing by government from the FED, because the amount of money the government can borrow is based on the guestimated amount of income taxes that will be paid.

If the government doesn't borrow more money from the FED, government won't have any money to make payments on their outstanding loans of the past. The FED will foreclose, and government will shut the FED down just to protect government.

There will be such a mix up in money, that our troops will all have to come home from everywhere, because we will no longer be able to support them over "there." We won't be able to support them because there will be no more money coming in from either income taxes, or from the shut-down FED. (BTW, with the FED shut down, Bitcoin will rule.)

Meanwhile, back at home, because there are no more income taxes, people will be able to afford guns and ammo to protect themselves from ISIS and any other terrorist. The government and military won't have enough money to enforce gun control. In addition, terrorists will dry up because, the government ones won't have any money to make fake terrorist plots anymore, and the foreign ones won't be receiving support from Uncle Sam to be able to buy their terrorist equipment, anymore.

The thing we don't see is a candidate even talking about something like this, which could be made to happen, bypassing Congress and the State governments.

So, you see? The whole candidacy thing is all a big front to keep things going on the way and direction they have been going for a hundred years or more now.

All government is racist. They are racist by not accepting the race of people who are racist. Trump simply needs to show people how this is the fact.

I don't think Trump is serious about winning. I think he is serious about playing the candidacy game. And I think he would accept the position if he won. But I don't think that he is playing the game to win.

Don't know about that. More like socialize costs and privatize gains as most others. He isn't that much libertarian. More a populist. He says whatever he believes people want to hear to get attention.

Helps with name recognition more. In america and abroad. Free publicity for his businesses everywhere. And if he is nominated or wins the presidency much better. Many don't like his views. But almost everyone knows who he is. And money trumps views.

Trump may not quit. He'll keep on trying through the next few elections until he dies of old age.

When you die, it isn't you anymore. So, he may not quit after all.

One unusual and interesting thing about Trump is he has a long history in business - in the business of paying off politicians who try to get things from him, shut him down, whatever.

So this is a guy that knows exactly what it means that republicans and democrats are the same.  He knows the system, from a capitalist point of view.

It's certainly not an Ayn Rand point of view, because she thought that intelligent capitalists should go on strike, instead of working the system.

Anyway, he may just be a guy who would be able to reform the system.  Well....maybe.....

Democrats unsure Hillary Clinton can beat Donald Trump in general election

Democratic Party activists are conflicted over whether Hillary Clinton can take on Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump in the general election, with some fearing she provides too much ammunition for the flamboyant businessman’s style of attack.

While Mr. Trump is leading the national polls and calling the shots in what’s become a circuslike GOP primary season, Mrs. Clinton tops a sedentary Democratic race with two other opponents respectfully nipping at her without doing much damage — and party stalwarts are happy to have it that way.

“I hear a lot of people saying, ‘You know, I’ve watched the Democratic debates and the Republican debates, and they’re so different. I’m sure glad I’m on the Democratic side and they’re talking about the issues. They don’t always agree with one another, but they explain why,’” said David Allen, a Democratic Party leader in Barnstead, New Hampshire. “Democrats have resolved themselves to not go into a circus and tear one another down.”

But Mr. Allen said he does worry about how the eventual Democratic nominee will stand up to the sort of withering barbs Mr. Trump has dished out to his own side.

“We’re going to start to have to look at how the [Democratic] candidates play against Donald Trump, because he’s certainly holding onto his lead in the Republican Party, and he has certainly played the Republican candidates in a way that has hurt some of his opposition, and I think people are going to start asking, ‘All right, who’s going to stand up under his type of campaigning?’” Mr. Allen said. “If Bernie [Sanders] is the candidate, Trump will play up how un-American socialism is, and if Hillary gets it, he will dig up everything in the past 40 years and use it — and won’t mince words in using it.”

Other activists say there’s a sense that, while it’s Mrs. Clinton’s turn to run, there’s no swell of on-the-ground enthusiasm for her to carry the party’s banner into the general election.

“I don’t think the [Democratic primary] race has generated all that much intensity,” said Ron Romine, chairman of the Spartanburg, South Carolina, Democrats, who is neutral in the race. “I don’t feel like anywhere in the state there’s all that much passion. The usual suspects will go out and vote, but there’s not an intensity that you might think there should be with the first woman.

“Hillary is so familiar, she’s been around forever. She has her supporters, and they’re going to go out and vote for her, so there’s not a whole lot to parse out,” he said. “You either like her or you’re not enthusiastic.”

Mr. Trump already has started taking aim at Mrs. Clinton, just as some activists had feared.

At a rally in South Carolina on Wednesday, the billionaire real estate mogul declared “war” on the Clintons as he explained why he wouldn’t attack Mrs. Clinton as “low-energy” — the term he used to devastate his GOP rival, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

“I just don’t like to use the same thing twice on one of my enemies, because I consider them enemies,” Mr. Trump said. “We view this as war. Don’t we view this as war? It’s war, it’s war!”

Bothered by Mrs. Clinton’s accusation that he has a “penchant for sexism,” Mr. Trump continued to attack her husband, former President Bill Clinton, saying he was “one of the great abusers [of women] of the world.”

The Clinton camp this week said they would “stand up” to Mr. Trump. Deputy Communications Director Christina Reynolds said in a statement that “Hillary Clinton will stand up to him, as she has from the beginning,” citing Mr. Trump’s “demeaning” remarks about “women, immigrants, Asian-Americans, Muslims, the disabled or hard-working Americans,” adding that he has “pushed around nearly all of his fellow Republicans.”

Mrs. Clinton’s own supporters seem unfazed by the threat of Mr. Trump.

“I expected that to come up no matter who the [Republican] candidate was [and] the Bill Clinton past — I’m not the least bit surprised,” said Bonnie Chehames, who is campaigning for Mrs. Clinton in New Hampshire. “I can’t imagine Trump beating Hillary Clinton, and I don’t care what the polls say. The Republican Party will be fractured if Trump’s nominated, and that’s good for the Democrats.”

I don't see why Trunp would quit the presidential race. Here abroad it seems like Trump could get a victory, the 'European favorite' to win the US presidential election month back was actually Jet Bush/Hillary Clinton, but both seems to fall in the votings - despite Trumps, sometimes crazy statements, he seems like the next US president.

Here is why:

Well it is easy  what is the last war America won?  WWII   (I know they did not win it alone.)

SO the people here are pretty tired of losing wars and having loved ones killed or coming home missing a hand ,leg, eye, mind etc.

So how did America win WWII?  By fucking people that were OF Italian, German , Japanese  decent living in the USA.

USA basically violated the constitutional rights of all three groups.  Read up on what they did to people that were Japanese and lived here.

They also restricted  Italians and Germans living here.  Finally they nuked Japan not once but twice.

SO when Trump talks badly about Muslims   restricting them banning them etc  many Americans think it would work to stop terrorist attacks.

Many Americans think that Muslims are not controlling their own people so we will have to control them.

Trump knows business he will cut a deal with Russia , China and India   to stop Muslim terror attacks.

Many Americans are thinking a version of the above case. I know because I live here and hear people say stuff like the above. In fact being a native New Yorker I have quite a few immigrant friends that have been here 10 or more years.  Some Russian and some Chinese  that both believe  the above idea could work.

Please understand the above is not what is right or wrong or what I believe.  It is what I have seen read and heard.
