Hello! I am wanting to own a bitcoin faucet. I am looking for a guy that can develop the script. Make alot of space for advertisments, mabye a video advert captcha. I am also wanting a payment for the costumer that can go directly to their bitcoin adress when they have over a certian amout of satoshi collected, And also make it avalible for them to make the pc remember their bitcoin adress. We can also discuss on skype if there is any interest from any of you to help me out. About how much would this cost me? Grin Grin

satoshibox has a free script.... If that's suitable for you, i can easily install it for a couple of bucks (or you can easily install it yourself for free).

If you want a custom script, it'll cost a lot more (dev time isn't cheap)

I have about 30-40 usd to use, enough for an ok custom script? I dont need no fancy design at all really. And those free scripts do not provide a directly paying method?

Can't say that i ever ran a faucet myself... For me, the amount of proceeds would never justify the effort it would take to run one. But if i understood correctly, the faucetbox script is indeed tied to faucetbox... So it wouldn't pay directly, no.

Maybe somebody would be willing to write you a custom script for $30-$40, personally i won't be able to write one for this amount, sorry (i charge between $25 and $50 per hour, and it would take a couple of hours to write a secure script)...

So a site like http://faucet.bitcoinzebra.com/?ref=moonbitcoin would take quite som effort with the weekly payment run and such?

Maybe somebody better/smarter than me would be able to make a script like that fast... But for me, it would take tens of hours to do so...
I could make a quick estimate, but i'm pretty sure it'll be a lot more than $40 to write one.

Maybe if you're lucky, you can find a student, or somebody from a lower wage country to write this script for you, in that case it could be a lot cheaper.

This would take a while to make it secure and add certain features.
I wouldn't be able to do it any less than 150 USD.

Myself, I don't really think it would. All it would require would be to have a CRON job which would run every Sunday or so which would get all pending payments from a database and send them using an API.

The hardest part about making this sort of faucet script would be making it secure. Bots are a very big problem in the faucet world as of late, and stopping them is a rather difficult job. Making the script its self would be fairly easy in my mind.

Thats wrong. If you buy the hosting on namecheap, or basically any other hosting site, you get the domain for free. So hosting + domain will cost you about 10$ a year.

I think those 30-40 will be enough if you can code your site yourself if not try to buy already running faucet. You can pm me as i also have one custom made faucet which pays directly every week.

I can make a satoshibox site for you for free, if you want. It's really quite simple. Just copy and paste the faucetbox file and you can edit it. Have you set up your domain name and your hosting provider?

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

Hi Joggizbtc,
if you don't have create by yourself I have 2 faucets + 1 forums with a good base fan, and a good profit.
Actually I have stopped due work time Sad that steal a lot of time.
If you want I can sell it, yes escrow is accepted, and we can discuss about the price in MP.

Actually it is right and wrong at the same time. Namecheap giveaway .website domain with a new shared hosting but if you want to use other tld like .com , .net you need to pay for it.
