I think I might go back to them oddballs of alternate crypto-currency, litecoin isn't worth it per-hash/per-watt, them other ones I've never even bothered with other then the now defunct yacoin.. Bah! time to dump my coins into BTC-e and run a random off the shelf trade bot!
Did you notice the scrypt usb miner project announced recently? (The Futurebit Moonlander) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1248914.0I'm getting one to play around; however as any usb miner it's not for actually getting a ROI. But I guess it could be fun mining something where there's a slightly higher chance of actually hitting a block sometime yep, I wanted to buy some, but they sold out

if we hit it will be a mess not so much for the part A ----- we have 48 so 1/48 x 12 = .25 btc
the part b will be off.
but I will take the coins and worry later.
to figure shares tracking for part b.
it is a nice problem if it happens.
long term is another story.

Just noticed that my 3 sticks were no longer blinking. I logged in, and the Pi was still up from 3 weeks ago, but couldn't contact CK's pool. So now I am happily blinking again on de.ckpool.org again.
While it ain't speedy, or powerful, that Raspberry Pi just chugs along rock steady.

That almost reads "back from the dead" which is also true I guess.

I also switched back but I left the de. pool address as a failover just in case... so I won't have to change it manually if something happens again (And I hope it doesn't!)

That almost reads "back from the dead" which is also true I guess. LOL nice catch. My failover worked and moved me back from Kano to solo when it came back life. Isn't automation grand (mainly because I was sleeping when it happened!)

I have solo.ck as my primary and the de address as my failover now, so my sticks should be back on the solo address (I haven't checked) since that is my pool 0.

Can someone please confirm what my cgminer .bat file should look like with the de pool as failover . My .bat looks like this at the moment with single pool: cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.hedgy73stick --compac-freq 300 --suggest-diff 50
